Most people seem to be of the opinion there will be 3-4 players coming in and already with a couple of players away and a couple more to go, I seriously doubt if we would have a squad of enough depth to challenge for Epl and CL. You would like to think quality coming in would be better than quality leaving, but can't help feeling keeping Rafael and Hernandez as squad players would benefit team and there experience would help new players bed in.

We have a very deep squad with some young quality coming through. I think we will be fine.

Lee, I don't think our CM performed terribly when Carrick got injured. It was less effective - yes; but it was not terrible by any stretch of the imagination.

Will Lvg keep Kagawa and get more out of him? Or will he still look like one of the playerslikely to leave
1.) Likely to leave for me. He will play two faster wingers and an advanced midfielder in front of two box to box players like Carvalho and Kroos. We have Mata and Rooney for those roles and Kagawa will be way down the selection line.

Mane has been disciplined twice for not turning up on time, why are we interested in a player who can't turn up on time? If he ends up at United surely with Lvg and his temperament mane wouldn't last.

i think going by Depays comments he is expecting to play mainly as a striker,but agree with your thinking that unless a another recognized striker comes in we could look a bit light in numbers up front, but i'm happy in the way the squad is coming together
