Long time reader 1st time post great story unitedwestand. Anyway even though I have every faith in lvg and cannot wait for the season to start we unfortunately are not the biggest club in the world and will not be until we make a statement in the transfer market madrid and barca say who they want and then go out and buy them. We are so far behind when it comes to record transfers! Everyone knows where we need players go out and buy vidal and hummels then people will start to take notice

re you're point, I think the fact we've just signed the biggest shirt deal in history tells you that commercially we are the biggest club in the world & there's no doubt had James been available to us we would have splashed the cash, but if a player wants to move somewhere then it takes it out of our hands. For foreign players the lure of Madrid is much stronger than Manchester simply because of the lifestyle & climate. Have some faith mate, I think we'll get

2.) I hope your right about vidal and I think lvg will be the best signing we will make this summer. He will get a lot more out of the players there I feel. Who you reckon will get the captains armband

I think RVP will probably get the nod but despite what I think of him I think Rooney is the best option.
4.) Yeah I think your right rvp will get it not sure about rooney great service but asking to leave twice left a sour taste in the mouth. Not too many candidates otherwise
