For some reason, mainly because of Moyes I have thought that the signing of Fellaini was guaranteed and I for one would be happy as long as we also got a more creative midfielder as well. But I believe Fellaini has a buy-out clause for about £23 million that ends on Wednesday 14th August. Why then would Moyes leave it so late, if he was actually interested in the player. Surely it will be a lot more difficult to get the player once this buy-out clause ends. Now at least we now the figure, we pay the figure, we get the player. I'm starting to think Moyes is not considering him, then who?

Also I would like to add, well done United yesterday, I know it was not amazing football but for me it was just important we won and it was a good start for Moyes. If we play a bit boring for the next 5 games but get 12 to 15 points, I would be over the moon.

1.) Fatty,

I must be in the minority, because I thought we played some top quality football yesterday. Some of the one touch stuff was nice to watch.

On a side note here: did anyone watch Arsenal beat City? I never saw the game, but a gooner mate of mine did, and reckoned City looked as predictable as the did last season.

Does Fellaini's buy-out clause not end on Wednesday 14th August.
If so surely we would get him before then not Saturday?

Liverpool were very very poor as a attacking threat, at one point we had 7 corners to 1 for them (which they bloody scored from). I can't understand how we lost the game but i'm not saying we deserved to win it either. Cleverley is so slow and rubbish. Welbeck try's but just can't score, Young is a waste of time. We are carrying to many very average players. A lot of people asking for Giggs to retire but he's a least better than Young and Cleverley. I really think we needed to get players in quicker and then we would not have had to put such a poor team out against Liverpool away. I hope we can bring some players in before the deadline or who knows what will happen, someone needs to give some good service to Van Persie.
Sorry guys but I can't find many positive's after today's game. :(

I just don't really get Cleverley, I just don't think he's that great at anything, he doesn't seem to have any strengths. He isn't a great passer or tackler, I fail to see anything that good in him.
Average at best.

Liverpool - none of the above players either or anyone near this class. At least we are linked to these players.

no- premier league ever!
no- hope

Cleverley may not be great but he's better than Henderson.

Second best team in Merseyside
How does that feel?

I totally agree Sydney, those three would be great and keep Mr Rooney and I think we really could win the league again this season.

Carrick was voted United Player's Player of the year and was included in the Team of the Year.
There is no doubt he was a big part of us winning the league of course he can play football.
