{Ed002's Note - Yes the club see him as one option but there is very serious interest from Spurs. Newcastle have likely moved on.}

I like him, he's a great player to have in your squad, a talented swiss army knife of a player. Good going forward, technical, hard worker and can play almost anywhere. RW, LW, CAM, CM, wing back and even CF.

That said I don't see us seriously making a move for him. He cost Forest 30m two years ago and has only improved while there. He'll still have 3 years on his deal, if not more if it's been extended. I'd imagine they'd demand 50m plus for him.

While he's a great player to have in your squad, I'm not sure he's quite at that level to be first choice for a team aiming for major honours. So I'm not sure the club could justify spending the sort of money he'll cost to mostly be a backup/ bench option player.

Better play than Mount. I wouldn't be against bringing back Andreas Pereira back if we were to bring in an advanced midfielder, has improved significantly at Fulham and looks to moving on this summer with Atletico interested.

Only reason Pereira has stood out at Fulham is because he’s surrounded by rubbish.
