Why don't we play Garnacho left wing and Ahmed Right wing with Rashford more centrally?

I think Rashford needs to be at his confident best to go central. He's proven better on the left cutting in.
And he doesn't press as well off the ball.
Enough games to see the front 3 change a few times when everyone is fit to see what works best.

Rashford's strength is his explosive pace which is best utilised on the wings. You saw his confidence rise yesterday, stopped over thinking situations and acted on instinct, hopefully this attitude remains.

Rashford's only position in the team should be LW. We lost the attacking threat from his pace when we have played him centrally as that's seen to best on the wings for sure. We have better options now in Zirkzee and Hojlund for the 9 position. He has been ineffective at RW.

Personally think we have a better player with greater potential also in Garnacho for that LW spot. If Amad continues his good start at RW I think this is Rashford's last season. Garnacho over Rashford is a no brainer. Appreciate we need cover and ideally 2 starting players for each position. But I don't think the new Ineos regime will accept a player on £375k a week not being one of the undroppable stars of the team. Rashford is clearly not that player.

I think without Hojlund we don't have a Striker, Zirkzee or the false 9 like to come short. In that case you need a wide player high with the pace to run in behind which is Eashfords strength, its even better when the team starts looking for him there and putting that ball beyond the CB.

I understand your points about him cutting in from the left but he can always interchange with Garnacho and if he is given licence to roam and if we have quick ball over the top or quick through balls the centre he can still use his pace.
