Just seen Conte take Napoli from 10th last season, sell their two best players in Osimhen and Kvara and proceed to win Series A.

But I have Shappy down below telling us that Amorim, seemingly took a forgotten Portuguese giant, Sporting, to a league title so we should be grateful that he is here. By the way before his arrival in 5 consecutive seasons, Sporting finished between 2nd and 3rd. They were really struggling.

Do me a favour.

Conte always been a good manager, but I remember people saying they did not want he’s style of football at United, lots moaned about Jose because same thing, when these are two of the best out there, Luis Enrique and Hansi Flick, regular posters on here laughed at those suggestions…

People have short memories!

They have chosen RA rightly or wrongly, 6 months is no time to judge anyone especially when got a clown in goal forward line that can’t score a goal for love nor money, CBs who play with a fridge on there back and no legs in midfield

No manager wins with that…… this is awful squad…end of, yes we not got good owners, SJR another awful addition….

Angel, does it feel like a long time since we last won the league?

12 years now, and it feels like a lifetime ago. I can't imagine how 23 years must have felt to those Sporting Lisbon fans who had to wait that long until Amorim won the title with them.

Yes Conte has done a great job to help Napoli win their second league title in three years. He is after all a great manager. The problem with him tends to be that his football is a little uninspiring and he can have a fallout in an empty room.

Amorim is a good manager, potentially a great one, time will tell. Let's not forget he's the same age as Cristiano Ronaldo after all.

We didn't lose against Spurs because of the tactics or the system. How the manager set the team up restricted Spurs to just three shots on goal in nearly 100 minutes. While we had 16 shots on goal along with a lion share of possession and territorial advantage.

The managers system and tactics gave the players every chance to win that game, but their lack of quality in the key moments meant we didn't win it. It's that simple.

How come Conte didn't make Spurs a title winning club?

And Sporting won the title again this year, without Amorim. Who'd have thought?

AJH,

The fact that they won 11 league games in a row at the start of the season under Amorim might have played a small part in their league win.
