Hi ed002 Moukono from BD in Germany has had a great breakthrough season.
I understand his contact expires in June and he at the time of writing this has not signed a new deal or a pre contract agreement with anybody else.
Do you know where he will go to or do you think he will reach agreement with BD?
Who are the interested parties? He is being tipped for a very bright future.
Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea are inralks.}

Would it be easier to say who Chelsea aren't in talks with ?.

On a serious note the times I've seen Moukoko he has looked a very bright player with bags of potential.

I'm not sure if he is ready to be the main man for a side that is expected to challenge for the league and UCL. Maybe another season or two at Dortmund would be best for him, or maybe as an understudy to an aging player at a top club. I could see him rotating round or playing the final 20 minutes for someone like Lewandowski or Benzema at Barcelona or Real Madrid. Getting that experience but without the pressure to be the man.

But then maybe the pressure of being the man might be the thing that makes him. You never know what you can handle until you are tested.

I personally am wary of taking BvB players after Kagawa and Mhki's spells. And presently Sancho.

mbd, it's horses for courses. Donny has struggled coming from Ajax, Martinez has been excellent.

Dortmund have tended to play a specific way, and the players who excelled there did so because that style suited them.

That high counter pressing system.

Some players will be able to play a different way, some won't.

Gotze struggled moving to Bayern from Dortmund, Hummels was average, but Lewandowski was excellent for Bayern.

I wouldn't write off all Dortmund players, but it would definitely be better to sign players who are playing well in a team that plays a similar style to how the manager wants this United side to play.

Chelsea seem to be signing two teams, players for now who don't seem to be working out well and a bunch of youngsters for the future that it's far too early Roo tell with.

Didn't City sign a Dortmund striker who turned out ok?

I take my hat off to Chelsea, they’ve managed to save money by doing away with their whole scouting and recruitment team……they wait until a rival is interested in a player and then pull the trigger. Their best scouting client is Arsenal football club!
