I think Belgium have a good outside chance of the World Cup, the only thin that worries me is they have 4 goalkeepers and only 2 strikers, and me being irish and a Man U fan I hope England do well and I'd like to see Belgium doing well, I have a small punt on them

If Vidal is fit in time my moneys going on Chile, I think they'll be a huge surprise this year, they put in very good performances vs England, Spain and Germany recently, you'll get great odds on them.

I agree Belgium are worth a punt to make the semis. As a fellow Irishman I'd also like to see England do well, but they'll have to get something from the Italy game otherwise that group will swallow them up.

That's a good shout Plymouth. Chile have a strong team and I think they'll advance out of the group at the expense of the dutch.

Chile is a monster bet for the World Cup. They are long odds because they're in the group of death with Spain and Holland. I expect LVG will start at United sooner than he thinks though as Chile will go a long way.

Each way at 50/1. Absolute bet of the century :)

My two outside bets will be Columbia, who are strong up front, even if Falcao doesn't make it and Italy, just because they're Italy. No one is talking them up, they are always there or thereabouts and that man Pirlo. He will have a very good tournament.What a player. I think Argentina will be champions. I might have a punt on Fred being top scorer, maybe Balotelli as well. Can't wait.

I reckon Chile will be a strong team too, a lot depends on Vidal being fit though like you said. Belgium have a great squad but whenever I've watched them the players never really seem to gel.

My outside bet on a team to do well and surprise a few is Japan. Decent coach, good bunch of technical players.

I think Columbia and Chile will both have good tournaments. Columbia have some decent players in all positions, Falcao, Rodriguez, Guarin, Cuadrado, but like Chile they play very well togther. Like Ozwald said, Chile rely a bit on Vidal, he could put a scare on that Spain midfield, and certainly Holland with Strootman out. Columbia also rely on Falcao, but I would put my money on Italy making the semis, they have big players who turn up for the big matches. As for top scorer, Balotelli is a good shout, great penalty taker, Suarez is a good bet obviously, and maybe Muller, his positioning is unreal and I think it will show at international level. Germany to win, Muller to get top scorer.

If you want to back a team like Chile at the world cup. Spread betting is the way to go.
