Rashford was apparently singled out by LVG at halftime and after the match, when he should have been yelling at the midfield who provided ZERO, i repeat ZERO service. the midfield was completely backwards with players playing out of position. More evidence to the fact that the midfield failed was when Young came on at halftime, he too had ZERO touches in the box for the entire second half. don't yell at the kids LVG when your insane tactics are the reason that our strikers can't even get the ball. you come out and shoulder the blame you coward, don't take it out on an 18 year and a 20 year old who, they themselves, have salvaged this disgrace of a campaign (De Gea as well) . pathetic.

Well said TAS, agree with everything you said.

I think the next few weeks will show his character in spades. He'll take no blame and throw as many people under the bus as possible. If this is the case, then the evidence points to him not being here next season.

All I hope is that whatever happened in the dressing room doesn't cause Rashford to want to leave. The big stick treatment isn't the way forward; all it does is alienate players and the likes of our youngsters are the last people that should be alienated.

It's become more and more obvious to me that LVGs ego is immense. If he is so convinced about his own abilities, then it must be the team that isn't working (even after spending all those millions) . However, in all these results, good or bad, the common denominator is LVG. He should man up, accept HE'S not good enough, and fall on his sword and leave. I'd respect him somewhat if he did that, rather than dragging our team down and down every week.

His behavior has been getting more and more peculiar since that poor run of form over Christmas. The pressure is clearly getting to him and I expect it will only get worse until he leaves.

The board should just put him out of his misery and stick an interim manager in for the rest of the season.

He knows he is going. We know he is going. The only questions now are when and why (hasn't he gone yet) .

Rashford may be inexperienced but I'm sure he's not stupid and gets good advice. Regardless of any so called spat, I know which of the two I expect to be at the club longer and just hope MR handled himself appropriately.

If these reports are true though, it will be interesting to see how it impacts team selection. I guess that means Rooney will be straight back into the 11?

Slightly off topic but is Rooney a United legend? ;-)

A few weeks ago I read in a report that a senior player had said to Rashford to "just ignore van loony". I am away and can't find it right now. I wouldn't worry I think the players will think he is on borrowed time.

MDH i read that many of the senior players talked to Rashford and comforted him on the bus ride home. Which i love to hear. Next i expect that the captain for that match (carrick? ) should be saying something to the manager about this or even rooney. Rashford seems like he has a great support system in his fellow players.
