Embarrassing defeat yesterday, hope things can turn around. Players lack of discipline, tactics and team cohesion. This is not their fault. Some of them are good, others not so much, but manager's job is to cover most of the weaknesses with the strengths of the squad.
They need a manager who will not be afraid to leave Pogba, Maguire or everyone else sitting in the stands for a couple of matches. A manager who knows tactics and can alter his style according to game's situation. Ole's tactics and first 11 are the same from January.
Ole could be something else in the team, because he loves the club for sure, but he needs to think seriously if he is up and ready to take MU to the top and handle all these 80-90-100m players in his squad.

{Ed025's Note - i agree george, there is no fear factor like there was when fergie was in charge and the players are walking all over ole, time for a change i feel but it has to be someone respected and hard hitting mate..

I don't agree that this is not the player's fault.

Nobody told Maguire to go on a rampage after Kane, push him over and let him take a quick free kick. Nobody told Martial to react (although I don't agree he should have been sent off if Lamela wasn't), and nobody told Pogba to slide through a player. Just like nobody tells Luke Shaw to switch off time and time again.

We've got to admit that we just aren't good enough at the moment.

The players, coaching staff and board all have to take responsibility for what's going on.

Although I hear the tea lady does a good job.

United still have the fear factor, it's just the fear we have of watching them capitulate like that.

Wazza, these are all about discipline and tactics. Manager should make clear the role of everyone in the pitch.

Many times we saw AWB and Shaw out of position in defence, probably they haven't understand their roles too.
Maguire is not concentrated on games for some time now, manager's job is to take him off for a couple of matches.
Martial's attitude was childish, he fell to a trap caused by Lamela (decision was harsh, I agree with that) .
As far as Pogba is concerned, he stopped to be a football player years ago, so no comment.

I wonder if all the above happened to a manager like SAF, Bielsa or Klopp, what were the consequences to these players? That's the difference between Ole and them, but I really hope he will learn after this result.

I agree George and I'm not defending Ole.

What I'm saying is that the players are also responsible. I seem to remember having similar conversations on here towards the end of Mourinho's tenure. We were saying that players don't simply forget how to play football.

Perhaps we are at that part of the cycle again, where it seems the players aren't playing for the manager. But if that is true it's a disgrace, and a whole different conversation.

I cannot watch a Man United game anymore when Paul Pogba plays. That man is an utter disgrace. Ole needs to grow a set of balls and just drop him. no questions. His performances over the past 2/ 2 and a half seasons have been nothing short of pathetic, embarrassing and cringe worthy. Yesterdays performance from everyone was just not acceptable, it was an utter disgrace. The club from top to bottom is a shambles, it all stems from the Glazers filtering all the way down, it's just toxic.
