Why do we expect any different. Its been like this for the past 8 years

It started when we failed to get fabregas and ended up with fellani.

Untill the club stop making money the glazers don't care.

We have spent virtually nothing we saved how much on sanchez wages.

Sancho was our number 1 target, we wait till 2 days before the window closes to get a free agent.

Untill woodward, judge and co fail in bringing in the money nothing will change

ole will be gone by the next window and the dream of a new era will be sold to us when the next manager comes in.

The ambition of honours died when fergie and gill left.

Sadly I think you are right here. When former players, are no longer biting their tongues and saying it as it is and still nothing changes. Why do we think it will change if us as fans vent on social media etc. Its irrelevant what we think really. Glazers are so disconnected and if you saw Evras post the other night he had to tell the Glazers some home truths as they had no idea! So either they are being fed untruths by Woodward etc. Or they really are only bothered by £££.

The ambition and incompetence of our Club has been laid bare in another embarrassing illustration of utter contempt, arrogance and ineptitude.

The Club have somehow contrived to steal away all optimism from a season where we will welcome Europe's elite back to Old Trafford. Any momentum that may have been built has been completely evaporated in the last three months of embarrassing, shambolic, public negotiations which has seen us one again scurrying around Europe on deadline day desperately trying to sign anyone that may have us.

Our next 7 fixtures are Newcastle, PSG, Chelsea, Leipzig, Arsenal, Basaksehir, Everton and they don't get much easier after that.

Ole has many doubters but to see a Utd legend so publicly exposed and demoralised by a Club he obviously loves is as sad as it is despicable.

I think every single one of us knows how this now ends. Ole's reputation and legacy is destined to be forever tainted over the next few months as the complete shambles of this window manifests itself on the pitch.

Why would anyone want this job when the Club is run by investment bankers playing Championship Manger with one of the biggest and most famous Clubs in the world.

{Ed025's Note - that was hard hitting DLIB, but its hard to argue with any of that mate..

I think that's the whole reason that they bought Ole in to do the job. He is revered as a legend in the fans eyes, we as fans turned on Moyes, LVG and Jose. They know we won't ever turn on Ole. Woodward is arrogant enough to be bulletproof and the Glazers are ghosts. So where do the fans get to show their frustrations? Who do we vent at? It only leaves the players and due to the C.V. we can't even do that. So its all social media which i doubt any of the “investment bankers” take any notice of.
Heads well and truly buried in the sand!

Eloquently put. An honest and damming assessment.

Was just thinking. With C.V. really affecting Utd more than most financially with lost attendance revenue surely the club needs on the field success to get tv revenue and prize money and advertising revenue.

Now whatever you may think about Woodward he surely knows this and that the owners want their dividends regardless of C.V.. So he and the owners must know that signing top players to compete with our rivals is essential to their ongoing ability to get those dividends.

It is also interesting that no other club has come close to spending £100m on a player. Whether we like it or not there has to be a point at which even Utd say "too much" we won't overpay. I am actually happy taht we have not paid an outrageous amount in these very difficult times.

When people fear for their jobs and have to survive on greatly reduced incomes our clubs should realise this and act accordingly. I would rather Utd gave £25m to charity to help ordinary disadvantaged people than use that money to get to the amount Dortmund want.
