BBC quoting neither United or City interested in paying Villa's alleged valuation of Grealish at £130m.

Surely that means young (ish) Jack stays at Villa and he may regret signing his longer term deal with them.

Would've loved to see Grealish in a United shirt but last season was the golden missed opportunity.

3 summers ago Spurs reportedly bid 27 million for him and Villa were holding out for 30 -dont know how true that is but it was the figure in the tabloids.

He isn't worth anywhere near that and with 130 - 150 mill we could ;

Sell De Gea and Hendo and bring in Oblak and Trippier (todays incoming tabloid links)

Sell Bailly and Lindelof Buy Pau Torres plus one of Milenkovic or Skrinniar - ( incoming tabloid linked)

Sell Lingard, Matic, pereria and Dalot - Bring in Bissouma and Sancho (yawn) for a net spend of 130-150 mill depending on if you bought 1 or 2 centre halves -- yes its fantasy football manger but at this stage in development we need at least 3 first team starters and not one superstar.

Its not just the first team that needs improving. If the EL final is anything to go by, Ole doesn't have any faith in the squad either.

I don't have faith in ole. The squad was good enough to beat villareal.

The loss against Villarreal and the absolute shockingly poor performance, lack of attacking intent, tactics and nous from Ole has really cost him lot of brownie points with those who were giving him time to achieve something- the manner of that loss won't easily be forgotten.

We’d have some team there Boyfromburrenway with those signings. Spurs must be kicking themselves for not signing Grealish. Maybe he goes to City for £100m + a player. Or maybe City just call Villa out on too high a valuation. Ain’t seeing him in a United shirt sadly.
