The Saudi aspect is tough one because there will be players whos principles won't allow them. to be tempted by Saudi football. Even for ridiculous money.

Utd's wages have made it extremely tough to sell players in recent years. Players happier to sit in the stands rather than leave. Chelsea I think have sold over 10 in the close season, we've sold Iqbal for £1m. Bit of common sense with wages moving forward please. Saudi will tempt most you'd think.

You really believe this? I can see them not going because they want to play top level football, want to play in the champions league, don't want to live in or move their families to Saudi, don't want to be the subject of humour from fans, etc. But I doubt they'd turn down the money to protect the position of any of the top leagues, why would Fred, for example, care about the PL?
