Chelsea v City was a brilliant game to watch. How I wish I could ever say the same about our encounters. Dreary and frustrating, but I dare say it wouldn't be so bad if we had one forward at least who started to take their chances. Hojlund seems jinxed. He had two great opportunities on Saturday. Garnacho and Rashford both seem to lose their cool when in sight of goal. We clearly need a new sports psychologist because, if there is one at United, he/ she seems to be achieving quite the opposite of what's needed.

Tbf to the front players we are 11th in both "big chances created" and "expected goals".

I know these stats are not bulletproof but watching the games we don't create a boat load of chances, Hojlund can go through a full 90 mins and not have 1 clear cut chance.

We lack creativity from full back, deep midfield and right wing. Full back has been affected by injury to Shaw who is a big chance creator but the other two areas were meant to be improved by Mount and Antony. that's on Ten Haag.

Maybe Amad and Mainoo can come in and help pick up the creative burden where Mount and Antony have flopped.

I think Shaw will be a big help when he comes back. Shaw can overlap and is also a decent crosser of the ball and also has a good relationship with both Rashford and Garnacho.
It won't be long before Hoijland starts scoring, i think he needs to get that first goal and he will score on a regular basis. He's doing all the right things it's just his end product.

Its one thing seeing the big teams play well. But Wolves, West Ham, newcastle, Bournmouth Forest all pay lovely football at times, many of them with wingers who cost peanuts, defenders who cost under 15 million and mifielders in the same price bracket that just leave me baffled as to how we get it so wrong.

I thought our play on the weekend was quote wide at times with plenty of balls being crossed into the box. Not sure if it was a mix of direct instructions or Regulion playing but we definitely worked the ball better in ghr wider areas.

We have such a player, he will be back next year. Maybe January if we continue to struggle. which we will because half the squad are overpaid wannabes without an ounce of substance to their capabilities.
