Could we see Blind, Cuadrado, Vidal & Benatia sign by September 1st? That is a lot of work to do in just three weeks.

You are right its a lot to do over a short period, however Vidal may have a lot of the groundwork done as indeed coudrado, Blind should be fairly clean and negotiations should be fairly quick and easy with Ajax but Benitia is going to be a slow burn and not 1 i'm conviced we can pull off, I think we will have significant competition for his services, I wonder would Zenit sell us Garay :)

Too much faffing around on the CB's given that we only have 3 snr players and we will now be playing 3 in every game, a huge oversight and 1 that needs addressing with urgency as the 3 we have make darren anderton look like a hard manI know you personally don't rate Vlaar but I would bring him ni now for 6m even as back up he knows the boss and position inside out as part of a 3 so at least if worst comes to worst we have some experience in reserve

I imagine everything is done with Vidal apart from the fee. Blind wouldn't take too long, he is keen to join and Ajax are prepared to sell. Similarly Fiorentina are happy to let Cuadrado go if the fee is paid. Benatia would be the most tricky as I don't see Roma wanting to sell him.

I don't think many people would be too bothered if we ran out of time to sign Blind if we signed those other three. Personally I would prefer Hummels to Benatia and Reus to Cuadrado as I think we will switch to a 4-3-3 eventually, although Cuadrado would be great for now in the 3-4-1-2.

That would be sensational Sydney! Although I think of that only Blind is likely.

I don't think Vidal will make the transfer request. Benatia proved to be too expensive for City, so I don't think we will pay the price being asked. Cuadrado is the interesting one. I think he is possible but Van Gaal is being stubborn about wanting Di Maria and I fear we will end up with neither.

A lot will also depend on sales.

Ken, I agree, Blind can play CB, LB, LWB & CM so I'd be surprised if we never signed him. Cuadrado and Vidal are available if we cough-up the dough. Funny enough both are not of any interest to MU according to the local journalists, that's what they were briefed, so are these two the most likely then? Blind, Cuadrado & Vidal?

Fresh! if the fee is not agreed yet, what exactly has been "done"? We know that United would prefer Di Maria over Cuadrado and maybe that fluffing about could see us lose both? Blind won't come cheap, Ajax know we are desperate for a CB and have the cash and Benatia has proved to be too expensive for anyone who has been interested.

Lets see if we bite the bullet and spend, but I don't feel at all confident with either of these.

If Ed could pull all those off, It would be transfer equivalent to 1999 final. I wonder if LVG would regret not going for Di Vrij now that TV is off to Barca.

I think it's likely we will sign Vidal. I would say we'll be in for a big centre back with a lot of presence. And more Han likely a winger with lvg stating we haven't got one. Just hope woody has been getting his finger out the past couple weeks and it's all under the radar

I think LVG was sure TV was in the bag he didn't reckon on barca getting involved and AW being so stubborn. It appears he was pretty sure of humells too which indicates to me that he knows humells will come if we hit the number!
