Interesting reading ballague's twitter comments claiming that moyes wasn't too sure on Thiago being a success in the premier league. also claiming that bayern are now in discussions with Barca over signing Thiago!

a website now reporting that Bayern are close to finalizing a deal for Thiago.
At least it will put and end to this transfer story. It's unfortunate that we might lose out on a top player but not the end of the world.
Man Utd are the biggest club in the world and will always attract the best players.
It will be interesting to see who we will target if we lose out on Thiago
1.) Always attract the best players. Have you been hibernating these last few years or what? In recent years we've been snubbed by ronaldinhio, robben, sneijder, Modric, Lucas moura, hazard, Sanchez and now thiago! We lost ronaldo and now probabily Rooney, oh and we couldn't persuade lewandowski either, so no we can't attract the worlds top players any more, stop living in cookoo land

That wasn't what was written. The journalist Ken Lawrence was only speculating who he believes might be leave as part of a shake up of the squad! Carrick was on his possible list but I don't believe moyes would let go a player who gave his finest season in Manchester United shirt last year.
Surely it would have been unfortunate had he have met City representatives?
