Hello, As the summer progresses and various links between players and clubs are made, I never understand why Utd are not linked with Ross Barkley. He is full of potential, is very close to the young Roy Keane we bought from Forest, and would adapt well into the kind of mobile, higher tempo team that we aim to become again. Is there a reason known why the connection is never made? I see city circling and that is a bad situation for us if he goes there in the long term.

1.) Sure Barkley is a talent, but where exactly do you see him fitting into our starting XI?
We already have 3 players who can play the 10 in Mata, Rooney and Kagawa. then in the 8 we have Herrera and potentially Vidal so despite him being a talent, I see no reason why we would be looking to buy atm.
2.) Maybe because we have 3 number 10's already?
