Absolutely loving the Rooney meltdown on here and its about time. Watching the last two games we have a leader in the team and its not him - its Schweinsteiger. Rooney may score a few when we find our feet but his leadership skills are crap. Also people are blind to mistakes being made by Schneiderlin, granted he is better than what we had but at one point in the second half he was literally just kicking the ball away when he had time. Its also obvious that the forwards are playing out LVG's philosophy and the shackles aren't off yet. I'm not worried yet, I'd say more frustrated because when it clicks we will be awesome. Also love how Smalling is maturing, the guy is starting to prove he is a top CB and at the moment Blind is his perfect partner. Have a good weekend people hopefully watching our rivals drop points.

I not sure if others would agree, but Rooney was a better player at 16 than he is now.

He was shocking tonight. I can't quite put my finger on why he is performing so badly. I mean, he is doing the simple things poorly.

I hope he can good, but it isn't looking promising at the moment.

Schneiderlin had a poor game but he'll be a good, solid signing over time.

HB,

I don't remember schneiderlin making one mistake and his passing was brilliant, what did you think was poor about him? He's the main reason the opposition have no goal threat.

Perhaps I'm mistaken GDS (had more than a few so it's quite possible!) but I thought I remembered him losing the ball or not doing much with it. We do look much more solid with him in there though, that's beyond doubt.
