I can't help but notice that James Wilson picks up minor niggles quite often(today's papers saying that he is not in squad for QPR game due to injury) and I was just wondering if this was more due to the fact that he is still developing physically rather than being injury prone?

Yeah let's label him injury prone. He will never make it if his body keeps failing him like this.

His 18,mate. We are not going to throw him out there with a niggle if we don't have to. And with Rooney,Falcao and RvP we don't have to. It's called looking after your Young players.

2.) BornIntoIt I think after the signings we have made this season some of the fans including me are a bit worried about how we will fit in the young players in the starting 11.

I can't see how anyone of Blackett, Januzaj and Wilson will start with the kind of players we've signed.

How long will these players be happy with sub appearances?

I think after the performances last season Januzaj should've been the first name on the team sheet but even he's not guaranteed a place.

Wilson should've been our sub striker now that both Chicha and Welbz are gone but how will he come on when we have either one of Rooney/RvP on the bench?

Despite the lack defensive stability the signings of Shaw, Rojo and to some extent Blind put Blackett's place in jeopardy.


These are the only 3 youngsters anywhere close to the squad and they are not likely to get much game time.


I am not complaining about the signings just worried that are we going the Real Madrid way?

Ok it'll get us success but are we okay with this approach to get success?

3.) Januzaj may not play a lot this year but look for him to come to prominence in 2015/6. I am expecting some high profile departures next summer as older players are replaced, and as the squad re-balancing and tactical modernization continues. I would be surprised if Adnan didn't fit into LVG's medium term plans however, for this season, he will need to carpe diem when opportunities arise, as I'm sure they will. He is a young player and needs nurturing and protecting. Roma, with or without Strootman, wasn't built in a day.

4.) I think this season may be a bit tricky for the younger players due to the restricted number of games we'll play this year but they will continue to learn from the more experienced players. As long as the team develops as we all expect it to and we get Champions League footy next season it will get better for them.

Surely having top young players that have to work hard to get a game is how it should be? The fact is last season we relied on januzaj a lot when we shouldn't have to. This year when he does play there will be a lot less pressure on him when he plays and he will be able to work on his game and prove his worth when he does play.

6.) If the young players have the right temperment to play for utd there won't be a problem, blacket has had game time on tour and in the prem so far and wilson made his debut last season and has just moved up the pecking order.we will get injuries during the season so if there in the 1st team squad they will get chances.you will always get young players who think they can do better by demanding more money or playing time but most don't go very far ie zeki fryers already moved on from spurs, obviously not as good as he thought he was.

Also would you rather have januzaj learn from di Maria or young? Wilson learning from falcao or blocked by Hernandez or welbeck?
