RedRosie, GDS2 and Honeybadger,

Firstly Red, I personally am not an Arsenal fan as I would of hoped was clear from my post. Did like the ammo in a gun line though, quality.

I wasn't giving Arsenal and excuse I was giving them a valid reason, which is why the likes of Everton and Newcastle don't win a great deal and why you have struggled in Europe over the last few seasons, I know I mentioned Arsenals 8 year drought and am appreciative that hasn't been the same for you, but my honest opinion is that you are as far behind in europe as they are you in the EPL.

Bear in mind that 4th to first in either case could become a way smaller gap if you both purchase well this window.

Honeybadger, you do yourself a disservice and insult my intelligence with your reply, which I'm pretty sure was not based on the relevant content of my post but previous posts from our sign off.

Which brings me to you GDS2, same sign off but not always the same poster, 13 in the company here and some hate Utd. Me personally don't hate any team, well bar Stoke, but that may change with Hughes there.

So my previous post was a genuine opinion of your banter with the Gooners, not yours GDS2 and Honeybadgers in particular, my first paragraph was directed at you two simply because you two do go around admonishing any negativity from Utd posters.

GDS2 have to say we are impressed with your constant job of plugging the holes, do you work in tandem with the Honeybadger on some kind of rota.

Joking aside you have been having some banter with the gooners we noticed.

The weird thing is you are giving them 5h1t for something that applies to you too. You're telling them how they've won nothing for 8 years and think you're being smart about it. Anyone with a brain will know why they have not challenged fully for 8 years whilst they build that shiney new stadium.

Your jibes show two things, firstly the bitterness you hold against them and Wenger because they challenged you, won things and got lauded for the way they did it. You've just been lauded for winning things.

Secondly it was so apt that Andrew B answered a question from a gooner as to why you were pants in the Champions League with the reply "£500,000,000"
thus as usual it's ok for the mighty Manchester United to struggle in Europe because of lack of investment but because Arsenal have had the same in the Premiership they are a spent force.

By that reckoning Barca, Madrid and Bayern Munich are laughing you off as a spent force in Europe, rightly so, in our opinion, because the United squad you all say is your best for years is truly poor when it comes to the Champions League arena you have plenty of deadwood, you know who they are and that they bring little to your team even in the Premiership.

There are few of you who appreciate your failings and those that as always blindly think that the name itself means greatness.

If you are the greatest or the best at what ever you do the best way to show it is with humility and class, unfortunately this page, minus those decent regulars lacks any of that on far to many occasions.

We all have a passion for football but it's your attitude to others that sets you apart and in your case not in a good light. That in itself is a shame because Manchester United are a fantastic club and will always be a name to be respected.

The Anthill Mob

1.) Who said that this United squad is the best in years? Most United fans agreed prior to RVP signing last summer that we had the worst squad of Fergie's time. United need to buy a couple of players, and will, but also have some genuinely top notch youngsters breaking through. Don't write us off as 'A spent force' just yet.

Matt

2.) I'll chime in here if you don't mind. I wouldn't say we are the Arsenal of the Champions League as you are implying, we won it 5 years ago and have been in the final twice since losing out to arguably the best club side ever at the time. While I agree GDS2's '£500,000,000' response was entirely hypocritical I do not agree that we are falling behind in Europe. Or at least not as far as Arsenal have fallen behind in the Premier League.

Plus I'll think you'll find that there's not a single United supporter on here who thinks our current squad is our 'best for years'. It's not a bad squad at all but it's not our best either.

Arsenal are a good side, I enjoyed our rivalry and have a lot of respect for Wenger. That being said, any Arsenal fan who comes onto this site and gives us s*** needs to have a word with themselves. It is all well and good making excuses for lack of success but trophies do talk, and each trophy we have is another bullet in our banter chamber and unfortunately, Arsenal are all out of ammo. Come the end of the season if Arsenal finish above us I will applaud and eat a big old portion of humble pie but right now I just don't see it.

RedRosie

3.) Anthill,

No idea what you are going on about mate, whether that was meant to be a dig at me or not, but thanks all the season, it's nice of you to take an interest in teams at the top of the table for a change.

You said yourself, we have been having banter with the arsenal fans, friendly fun banter. A few of us actually said on here the other day that we actually like and respect arsenal, I certainly do, and I respected the way they built a team that challenged us and player some wonderful exciting football to do it. No bitterness, we welcome a challenge, something your massive club haven't given us for a number of years now.

Thanks for respecting our club in this post, a number of your other posts have quite clearly showed your disrespect for us, so not sure why the sudden change.

Have a good day 'mate'.

4.) Well said GDS, we hold nothing against Arsenal and the banter is good (at times).

Read the OP twice and I still don't get the point of it TBH? Just seems like waffle to me, sorry.

5.) Its funny, how fans from Arsenal, 'Pool, Chelsea, City, Spurs etc kind of think ganging up or pooling in will just make their point a little more obvious. You know, endorsing each other, giving each other imaginary high fives and flooding our page with less than "respectful" posts. Well "Anthill", respect is earned and your previous posts don't quite reflect that. You are being hypocritical. People who come for healthy banter are always welcome. Infact I have seen Gav, GDS, AJH etc having pretty funny banter with the likes of Stoner etc. But you know, most of the LIverpool supporters come here as wind up merchants and sound extremely bitter. Mother of all surprises, they expect us to be respectful! I certainly appreciate our short comings and areas of opportunity. But then if you come over here before the start of every darn season, claiming this is your year and we are on the slide etc etc. you know what's coming your way. More so because we deal with FACTS! Shinji 1 Gerrard 0

Deeps.

6.) RedRosie,

I know the OP said it but just thought I would point out Andrew B came out with the £500,000,000 comment not me, that is something I wouldn't ever say.

I agree with what you say about them coming on here and giving us s***, I absolutely love the 'bullet in our banter chamber' line, classic.

7.) GDS2

Apologies I made the mistake of believing the OP I retract my Hypocrite comment!

Thanks I was pretty pleased with that one myself!

RedRosie

Well we're of the opinion there is way to much flapping going on re Moyes and co. Not that it's not good to see mind you.

It's going to be a big season which is understandable with no more Ferguson.

We look at that last season Fergie dragged that squad to the title with his awesome management skills.

Moyes on the other hand failed to get Everton into the top four when he had an opportunity too.

We're guessing that on the outside you'll be yeah whatever but inside, a totally different story.

The Anthill Mob

1.) Although yes every one is tentative about the new management, but to say we were dragged through last season when we won by such a huge margin is rediculous.

You don't win by that much and have a bad team.

J J

2.) Umm are u still about? Wow we thought u had learnt by now
CTR

3.) Hey mickey stick to mid table obscurity. that's what your good at. Shelvey the new Gerrard was what I heard last season. This is definetly your year. Dream on
Blackpool Red

4.) Oh no the mob is back! Everyone lock your doors and draw the curtains.

5.) Stick those locking wheel nuts on too HoneyBadger.

Morning Gents,

We wanted to say congrats on your 20th, been somewhat busy so we've not had a chance to post.

Appreciate we don't agree with you all on most things but that's banter for you.

Just a couple of questions for next year, do you think that others will make a better fist of a challenge in the EPL, we all think that with out doubt Chelsea and City will come back at you big time and if Arsenal buy well they could be there, add to that if Spurs buy a goal scorer and keep Bale, we think those 4 and yourselves could be in for a good scrap for the title.

Europe, taking aside the Nani sending off, do you think you could honestly have gone any further. It is going to be a massively hard competition to win next year. It's highly likely City and Chelsea will make a way better fist of it next year to add to the fantastic Germans and the big two in Spain, without Juventus and PSG, think PSG could be the dark horse next year.

Finally as you're probably bored at work Chris the REDman, we don't go to school, we all work for a company in sunny Cornwall and are going out on site as soon as I finish typing.

Laters gents and good luck for next season.

The Anthill Mob

1.) I think City and Chelsea will give us a better fight next season but don't think Arsenal will be up in the top 3 and neither will Spurs with or without Bale.

If we had beaten Real, we would have beaten the turks and then who knows about Dortmund. We certainly wouldn't have conceded 4 goals away to them put it that way. I think it would have been something like 2-1 to them away and then we would have had a good chance at home.

Next season will be very tough in Europe, if city and Chelsea strengthen then they will be better, Bayern will be a force again but Dortmund will be
a bit weaker. Barca will be Barca and Real will be strong. Very hard to call how that will go.

If we can get some of our supposed targets i. e. Strootman, Lewandowski, Baines, Rodriguez etc then we will also be in a very strong position to challenge on all fronts next season. It should be very exciting.

Brendan81

2.) Not being funny but dortmund would of destroyed us in their camp.

3.) Dortmund wouldn't have destroyed us in their camp, why do people not give us enough credit.
Sometimes its not about the players on the team sheet, but the performances they put in. Our defence is better than Reals. We all thought Real would batter us, but are tactics where a lot better, this maybe down to us not going full on attack.
I agree that it might have been 2-1 to Dortmund, and then us inevitably getting knocked out on a way goals, but we wouldn't have conceded 4 goals.

aaallj5

4.) I think we can safely say, Dortmund would have playd us off the park if we met them.
You only had to see the energy, skill and tactics in the team to realize that.
Nomidfield

5.) Why would they have played us of the park?
"You only have to see the energy, skill and tactics to realize that"
Exactly! Would we have played the same tactics as Real, I don't think so. We would have had a more resiliant formation, containing a more defensive minded midfielder in Jones, who would of been able to man mark Rues. We would of played with more width, which Real didn't seem to want to do, as there plan was to spray the ball out to Ronaldo as much as possible, which then resulted in Higuain not being able to get into the game, as he had to go out wide to get a touch of the ball.
We can then talk about the Forward line, which would of exposed a very shakey central defence. As good as Hummels is and I am one of his biggest fans, we have to agree at certain times he was very shakey, as real madrids goal will highlight. There is also a moment in the second half he gives the ball away under no pressure.
Their midfield is incredible and would have been very difficult to contain obviously, but it would of not have devided our defence as easy. we would of lost, but not by 4 goals.
Its incredible that our own fans don't give us the credit we deserve, as we have shown time and time again, we are not afraid to step up to the big occasions.

aaallj5

6.) Don't worry aaallj5, Nomidfield always bets against United. It's just his 'thing'.

So how's it all going,

Swimmingly by all accounts, 4 players coming of age against RM, Nani back to world class, DDG isn't 1 mistake away from being sold. The Sydmeister! still rolling out fantastic facts and figures. Still getting outplayed by all and sundry but getting the points. Even KLOOT has been funny.
Life must be sweet.

No wait, you've not won anything yet, Sly have again pointed out you really are RVP United. The pressures building, your even fighting with each other, your getting more obsessed with the scousers, what is that all about, a few have got that copy and paste off to a tee. Where is it all going to lead. We wait, patiently.

Kind regards

The Anthill Mob

1.) U know u can put 'we' after every point u try to make, we still know ure 1 little person at a keyboard.
Ure points are so invalid and wrong that its quite funny now, but we have missed YOU! YOU makes us laugh, but then u have had ure head up the scousers backside to try and form some friends
Chris the REDman

2.) 89 goals scored by Manchester United,

23 for Van Persie.
15 for Hernandez
13 for Rooney
5 for Evans
5 for Giggs
4 for Cleverley
4 for Evra
4 for Nani
3 for Rafael
2 for Welbeck
2 for Kagawa
2 for Anderson
1 for Vidic
1 for Scholes
1 for Carrick
1 for Buttner
1 for Powell

17 different scorers, yes a one man team ;)

Sydney!

3.) BORING! how many one man teams are we gunna have?
first it was ronaldo, then rooney. then nani. then back to rooney now it's RVP. you're an id1ot.

it's funny how you won't tell us what team you support, seems like you're ashamed of the team.

i await your next reply after 3pm, because lunch break is nearly over isn't it.

JK92

4.) There is one thing for sure we have way more chance of winning something, unlike you scousers whos season is already long over.

5.) Liverpool have scored 49 league goals.

Suarez has scored 18 and assisted another 4.

1 player directly contributing to nearly half the club's league goals. One man team? Wait until rat boy starts sniffing around for the more expensive cheese. 29 points behind and counting. Season over before March. Liverpool fans only chance of celebration is that another team fails.

The 80s are a long time ago, how long before everbody starts ignoring your desperate attempts to make yourselves feel relevant in a footballing world that has left you behind?

Danny Pughnited

6.) Where are all your tough mates today then Keyboard Warrior? Do you all take it in turns pressing the keys, awwwh how cute is that. I still laugh at your post trying to intimidate poster's by saying there is a 'group' of you, lol. Jeez, with your level of intelligence who knows what a whole group of like minded individuals could achieve - perhaps the same as LFC have achieved in the last few years? Sorry I take that back, nobody deserves such an insult!

HBadger

7.) Obsessed with scousers? Who's on the United page?

Once Gerrard and rat boy have left you, what do you have? I would prefer West Brom's team or Newcastle to the Liverpool team that would be left without those two.

Must be nice though, not having to worry about winning titles any more, not even competing against most teams. Weight off your mind.

8.) Tbh danny I think most people already have and the BR appointment has cemented that
Chris the REDman

9.) Yes syd that's correct, but if u took away those 16 other goal scorers we would defo be a one man team and to the ABU's that's pure logic and makes there points relevant and worthy lol u know wot there like, never let the truth get in the eay of bitterness
Chris the REDman
