Does anybody know if we are signing a top midfielder in the summer ie Strootman? I'm worried that we are not being linked to anybody in midfield!

I wouldn't worry about it, the press at this stage of the season are looking for stories rather than truth. Its a better story to link us to players in positions that would have a casualty. Such as signing a striker like Lewandowski must mean that Hernandez or Rooney will be sold, or signing a centre back must mean Rio or Vidic are leaving. By linking us to these players they are creating a story that isn't there and they can sell more papers with headlines like "Rooney leaving?" than they can by linking us with a much needed midfielder which would have no casualties meaning they can't make a follow up story for it. The press is 95% rubbish. Use your own judgement and comkon sense and you'll be closer to the truth than any of these rags.
