Sources claim that Manchester United are close to signing Kevin Strootman for £17.5m. I do not know how true but this is definitely a step-up. How would u fit him in with the current squad over looking other potential ins
1.) Strootman will partner Carrick as the deep 2 central mids. If we did/do get him Anderson will be on his way out

4.) I would rather not sign him and just get Fabregas to play alongside Carrick behind Kagawa, and then sign a really young player to play back up along with Cleverley and Powell.
5.) Terrible line up, Zaha far from the finished article, and Valencia can't beat a man, with 2 deep lying midfielders creativity would be severly lacking.

10.) I really hope we get Fellaini instead of Strootman. He plays well anywhere in midfield and has proved his worth in the EPL. I can't understand everyone wetting their pants over Strootman. It can only be that a lot of reds on here have only seen him on YouTube. He looks goodish in the Dutch league, but excels in little. He isn't a powerful midfield enforcer, nor a highly skilled goal scoring/making AM. he's like Fletch on a good day. Fellaini and Tiargo would do me. 2nd choice would be Wanyama/Bender and Fabrigas

I am wishing he comes here? {Ed004's Note - I was just thinking that by signing Baines, Strootman/Modric and Bale this year it would let us remain competitive in the league and then next summer we could improve further on the team and make it so we only need 2-3 signings next year to be up competing in Europe}
1.) That is a very good idea. But I will give our two left backs a season long chance. I have high hopes for fabio and buttner

We were competitive enough in Europe this year so the 3 of those would make us much more competitive.
Baines is what 28/29? I wouldn't spend that sort of wedge on a player that old - if we are to go for anyone why not Luke Shaw? Either way I'd let Paddy and Buttner alternate at left full next season and look to bring someone in then.

Zaha will do very well next season, watching him today his teammates just weren't on his wave length it's almost like he wants to play a more technical game as apposed to constantly running down the wing with the ball you could see towards the end he was knackered. They rely on him so much to carry the ball forward I wonder how they're going to cope next season unless Bolaise can step it up notch. Don't know if you realised but he was closely marked by two players everytime he got the ball in the final third and yet he managed to nip it past both of them the majority of the time.
Confident he'll be better than Nani and Young next season anyway.

The market opens a few days from now. A lot of clubs a making moves now and then. Sir alex said that We have already identified our targets and we are set to make some interesting signings. I wanna know why we aren't making moves to wrap up this signings. Plus he said that we will make a big signing this summer but the big names we ve been linked with are moving to other teAms. Does sir alex retirement have an effect to all these. I will like to know. Please Eds, Sydney And fellow reds. Great work on here.
