I'm an everton fan and struggle why united fans seem to write everton off for the 4th spot and then do not write of Liverpool or spurs, we've finished above Liverpool the last 2 years and in my opinion our teams are even bar suarez obviously?
Also I wanted to get uniteds thoughts on if they think fellaini will be a success at united long term?
1.) You are a better side than Liverpool without Suarez.
2.) Ryan, despite Everton performing admirably, they lack the quality that Liverpool and co possess.
Liverpool have better individual player, Tottenham have a significantly better squad, and we have both a larger squad and better players.
When going through a rough patch, Liverpool can rely on Suarez for inspiration and he can win games on his own.
Spurs have either better players or at least players of the same caliber all over the pitch. Their defense is just as good ( bar Baines ), their goal keeper is better, let's not get started on midfield and their attack has more class to it, especially when/ if Lamela finds his feet.
We have Rooney and Van Persie to rely on ( you can also count on Mata now ), our midfield is bad, obviouly but we till have more depth than you do. You have a more consistent defense atm, but it has more to do with our defenders not finding form than your own players.
Everton are dark horses to finish in the tp 4 imo.
3.) As for Fellaini, we'll see when he gets back. I'm personally not completely convinced with him, nor am I with Moyes, but he still has time on his side

cheers syd! it gets on my nerves that people write us off and don't realise were a good side. like ADZ-MCR said on a post I had on the Chelsea page that were a small club when infact were not and we have a lot of quality players.
5.) I hope you finish above them! Hate em. Hate city as well but can't see finishing above them. As far the second question! No!
6.) Everton are in great shape right now and Martinez has done well for you but IMHO a lack of strength in depth is why you may fall just short. Mind you, even grabbing 5th and having some European action next year would be a good achievement surely? Not that i'm writing you of 4th altogether, mind, just think it will be difficult.
On fellaini, I've never been convinced he is mobile enough for what we need, however I'm willing to give him some time to prove me wrong. As I said below Moyes knows him better than anyone.
7.) As u well know, Fellaini will be awesome for us.

As an Everton fan, I watched us fall from the top of the mountain many years ago and never climb back up apart from getting 4th a few years back. At least you're still near the peak so look at it that way. you're not Fergie united now, football has changed. you have one shaky game against city (best team in the league atm) and you've thrown your toys out the pram. Manchester United are in a brilliant position. Don't know how some fans of top clubs would survive at a club without great financial power.
Fickle fans some of you are, anyway will have to agree to disagree I don't have a hatred for your club it's clear to see next season you'll be top 4 maybe this year, anyway let's hope both our clubs get in they're instead of Liverpool and that other club In Manchester, good banter guys;)
If your squad was better than ours then you'd of finished higher than is and spurs fact. Just like your squad has been better than ours since the premeir league started but last year it weren't, simple as.
Well I suppose we all have our opinions, in a combined 11 I would have, de gea Baines jags distin Coleman McCarthy Barry(purely because you have no cdm haven't seen blind play) di Maria (Rooney or Barkley (undecided unless you take rvp out and put both in te side) rvp Falcao I didn't come on hear to argue but what would your 11s be? And tbh I think this is a non starter as a debate because you finished 7th we 5th so in theory your arguing to say you have a better squad, I could say the same about us having a better squad than Liverpool and arsenal, the league result doesn't lie. We haven't got a good as squad as Liverpool and arsenal just like you haven't everton, that's not to say by end of January you won't because you clearly have money to burn
I'm an Everton fan and last season proved we have a better squad than you yeah you've got do maria Falcao and rvp and Rooney and maybe de gea but who else in your squad is better than our starting 11? Yeah I know your replies will be bringing up history but were in the present now
