Højlund has ability, and isn't an awful player by any stretch.

The issue mostly seems to be his confidence is totally shot to pieces right now.

He isn't the finished article, and there are clearly parts of his game he needs to work on. But you have to expect that when you sign a 20 year old. The problem is that he should be learning off of a top level, experienced player not having to lead the line every single game.

100%. Personally love the lad, the energy he puts in. Zirkzee too, lots of potential, but there’s that word again. I think 3-4-3 is too isolating for a young striker, 3-5-2 has always been my preferred formation, but that won’t change it seems so let’s back the team instead of bagging the kids before they’ve had a chance.
