It's pretty harsh, but that doesn't mean it's not right. I also struggle to see any player that has improved, apart from perhaps Bruno.

We should remember that injuries have been shocking, but I remain underwhelmed.

AJH

How did you feel in SAF first three years where we were finishing 13th and 11th?

I made that point in the post above Red Man, I'm not suggesting we sack him, just that he has been somewhat underwhelming so far.

I actually disagree because I have seen something in Amorim I haven’t seen in the others bar maybe a very small amount in Mourinho. That is his character and conviction to deal with the issues we have. He dealt head on with the Rashford issue, his appraisal of situations has been very good. He looks a good fit to me, needs time and support.

Amad, yoro, Casemiro (regained form), Bruno and Zirkzee.

There’s 5 who improved since he came in.

I don't know, Caolan. As much as I like Lenny and Zirkzee, and the manager, could it not be said it's a case of them just starting to find their feet in a new league/ country after fairly inauspicious starts, more than a manager improving them. Still to soon for me to say he's actually improved them.
I'll give you Amad and Cas, though ?.

Noucamp, if you use that ideology then no manager anywhere in the world can be applauded for improving any player, we can just say it’s them maturing them finding there feet, them growing a pair, your using a very tainted argument.

Only disagreement I have with any of the above is not sure anyone improved Cass he always been a class above the rest, you don’t win what’s he won not being so, think he lost his way a bit under ETH because he was expecting him to be scoring goals too as well as getting back, the legs not there for that not sure ever have been, play in the position he enjoys and he still better than anything at the club in that position.

You can’t polish a turd.

Needs huge squad revamp with players suited to his system and more physicality.

Plus a goal scorer and a new keeper.

Nonsense, German. They're two young foreign lads coming from vastly different leagues, and who've been at the club for 5 minutes. Of course they're going to need time to find their feet. You can't possibly say a manager has improved players in their position after such a short time, when you have to take these other factors into account.

You can do if they're still showing continuous improvement into next season, and the next. Then you can applaud the maager and give them their dues.

I like Amorim a lot, but let's not rush to laud him over something, at this stage, that he'll have had a small degree of input into.

Erm he's head coach isn't he? Does he get a great deal of say on who comes in?
Dorgu has been here 5 minutes and he's for the chopping block iyo.
And that "crazy" 343 formation I've seen being played when in possession by some of the top sides in Europe including PSG this evening albeit they've got players to suit and have been at it for longer together. Bit of indulgent negative post imo. Nothing positive to say when Amorim didn't want to arrive until the summer anyway.
