De Gea anyone?

Personally, I'd be very happy to see him return and, perhaps, shelve the need for a new 'keeper for one or two years.

I know he's not the greatest on the ball, but he doesn't fart about like Onana and is in an entirely different league when it comes to shot-stopping.

No brainer for me.

In a heart beat. Shocking we let him go without a replacement at least as good as him.

I would say the majority of fans didn't disagree with him getting moved on. just the manner of it. he hasn't improved since then has he? Poor on crosses not commanding and not great with his feet.

Replacing De Gea with Onana is one of the biggest downgrades I’ve ever seen in football, worse still than when we sold Ronaldo and brought in Valencia.

Would bringing De Gea back strengthen us? Absolutely. Do I think it’s the answer to our goalkeeping problems? Absolutely not. But, then, if the options are De Gea or nobody then I’d take De Gea in a heartbeat.

Onana has been erratic but it's easy to forget that DDG was on the wane, he threw a couple into his own netin his last year. Yes we need a new GK, but I don't think it's DDG.

I think people underrate how hard is it to be a United keeper, almost everyone fails.
De Gea for 1 year is fine, his wages will be fine.

And next year, the club could target a top keeper.

De Gea was a top shot stopper but he made more and more mistakes and he was never great at dominating his penalty area. Let's give Onana one more chance to show if he has settled down and if not then we buy at Xmas. I would be happy for Heaton to be in goal. He has never let us down.
