Next up Burnley.
And they will not be pushovers. I think outside the "big teams", Burnley cover the most ground in their matches. They're the kind of team we usually have some problems with. And they beat pool too.
Not as easy a match as some would like to think.

We should smash them. Let's not pretend this could be a banana skin.

they look decent at home but away they don't look great, 3 points is a must, same team except for martial to come in for ibra, looks like he needs a rest.

Jred,

Didn't they beat Everton last weekend? Their home form is always good, at old Trafford we should beat them, but it won't be easy, no game ever is.

I hadn't seen that jred. Been a bit busy with classes.
That changes my perspective. 4-0 it is.

GDS2 you are wrong. We should be expectant of a very good victory against Burnley at home. None of this it will be a tough game rubbish. It is only tough if we make it tough.

We will win but i don't think it will be pretty, this will be our 5th game in 13 days 4 of which we have had little to no rotation, physically it is going to take a toll. We need to get an early goal on Saturday or it could be messy for us.

Totally agree with Maze. If we are saying Burnley is a tough game then God help us. We have to beat them and beat them convincingly simple as that. We cannot keep making excuses. It's pathetic.

I don't think there are any easy games. But we should be beating burnley at home without excuses. They do very well at home but struggle for results away from home. They beat us last time they were in the epl at turf Moore.
A win at the weekend will give us some momentum and while we have not been playing great stuff we have only be beaten once in the last7 albeit a bad beating.
Some players have been under performing no doubt about it but for me is still early days and there is a lot more to come from this squad.
Hopefully miki can overcome what ever issues there is and earn his place in the team and players luke ibra shaw pogba and martial raise their game to the levels of herrera mata and Valencia.
Central defence is still a cause for concern but we are trying to strengthen in that area for January. 6 points is not insurmountable by any stretch of the imagination. With the exception of arsenal and Liverpool for me no other team is lightning it up yet and history tells us that those two clubs have a self destruct mode that will kick in.
City will get over their slump too and spurs look formidable on their day but I think we will rise to the challenge. It's still October I reckon we will be in the hunt come April.
