Having watched the Chelsea game it seems pretty clear that they are going to be moving on from kepa and bringing in a new no1. I can see them pushing for hendo due to his wages and possible fee being considerably lower than other options (ter Stegen, oblak) . If Ed, ole and the others in charge at United lose him to Chelsea then they need hung. If we stick with Dave then it's a scenario that could happen and that worries me 😱.

Not sure maybe some of the Ed’s can help with that. Problem is that I can’t see him wanting another loan so if he isn’t given a shot at being no1 then he will probably want to leave. Euros are next summer and he has a good chance of being in the squad if he’s playing regular.

i know Dean on a personal level. I’m not so sure he is prepared to go on loan for another season, as he believes he is ready to play for the first team now.

I think the issue is that DDG is still very young (in GK terms) and so Dean’s only chance of being our first choice keeper is if we decide to move De Gea on. If DDG was nearing the end of his career, I think Henderson might be happy to wait it out, but with De Gea having made a lot of high profile mistakes over the past two or three seasons and the club seemingly sticking by him, I think he’s right to be considering a move elsewhere.

How many goals does DDG have to be at fault for before the club decide that enough is enough? Who’s to say they ever will?

I have a horrible feeling the club will decide to give Dave one more season (and perhaps we owe him that much), but if I were Henderson, with the Euros coming up next summer I’d want to be starting for a top four club next season.

Thanks Ed002.big talks ahead then. Let’s hope we can provide him with a plan and progression that he’s happy with. He’s an excellent keeper and wouldn’t want to see him go.

I think PSG need a high profile keeper and Juventus too. Offer DDG to them with reasonable money, thry cn afford his wages and move on.

redseven, DDG doesn't have to be moved on for Henderson to be our no 1 keeper. He just has to be dropped.
