We have all seen this year the league is very open, we should really push to try and get a player or two in during January and have a serious go the league. I would even get out of that Europa league, just play the fringe players to give the main lads a rest.

Hello everyone, longtime lurker but my first post.

I’ll say right out the gates I back Ole. We have to let him see it through to the end of his contract instead of changing to another manager and going through the same thing again.
He’s got us playing some really good football in spells and shifted a lot of the deadwood other managers couldn’t.

Pogba - needs to go. I don’t buy into ‘he played well last night” he’s overated and isn’t a team player. How many chances has he had? GET RID - although I suspect he’s being made to play by the powers that be.
It also irks me that he never tracks back when he gets tackled and always throws his hands up like it’s a crime that someone dare tackle him.

Centre half’s aren’t up to it for me. Get 2 more and take the armband off McGuire - worst captain in a long long time. Bruno is our man I believe.

We win this game on Sunday and we’re in second and we haven’t hit our stride yet. We should get behind Ole and support him. He’s doing well. We’ve had 2 world class managers in Jose and LVG that couldn’t get the job done and Ole is working with what he has and doing it well.

I know I’ll get flac for my thoughts but that’s the nature of it.
Love this site and I love reading everyone’s points of view. Here’s hoping next year we can get back in to games.

Agree on CB, If we can get 2 top CB's we will be title challengers.

I'd love a duo of Pau Torres and Upamecano.
But I don't think the club would ditch Maguire as they would be put to shame for paying world record fee for him.

Welcome. Good post.
Ole has the full backing of the board that's what matters most.
Nobody can argue the results in the league for the last 6 games have been very good imo.
I don't think under any other manager we would have got more than 16 out of 18. I acknowledge that even as someone who would have made the change at the end of last season and the beginning of this.
I acknowledge right now too that results are more important than performances. If it continues like this i'd be happy. We are in there at the fringes and competing.
I think we have the squad to compete.
I think we also have the squad to be more expansive.
I think our defence should be better drilled.
I think our cl demise was awful and littered with errors from ole
But as long as we compete in the league and look to win a trophy or get to a final i'd be as content as i was under jose.
Great away form if we can start winning at home it would give us a chance.
I also think if we go out to be constructive it would also give us a better chance.
There has been a change in the coaching set up and back room staff let's hope that brings a more positive approach.
Even With the last 16 points out of 18 i'm still totally unconvinced by ole. Maybe its down to the poor finish to last season the poor start to this. Maybe its because of the way we approach games maybe is because if the cl maybe its because i'm not entertained most of the time because most of the time we are submissive dour insipid and boring imo but that is punctuated by some really nice stuff in patches. It probably a mix of all of the above. I don't find him engaging or inspiring.
But if the points and trophies keep pouring in i'm sure he will grow on me😂
I posted snot 6 weeks ago that if ole picked up points while learning then its ok but the minute he stood picking up pints while he is learning the knives will be out.
Leeds at home Sunday should be a good challenge. It will be an open game hopefully that will suit us a bit more.

Who are these top CB's that we should get. I don't see too many top class CB's that could be got.
City signed Ake but I don't think he has been a rock of defence either. Its easier said than done, I think.

So far as Pogba is concerned Ole is in total denial that he wants out. Only yesterday he was saying how committed Paul is, what a good boy he is, how he trains so well blah blah. The club will try to offer a new contract at this rate!
