As a relative newcomer to the site I've noticed pretty quicky it's a whirlwind of moaning and general discontent over one thing or another. If ain't Ole then it's a lack of signings. We get a couple of worldies in then it shifts to Pogba. If it ain't Pogba then it's VDB. Now the next few days will be vitriol against Ronaldo. Come on dudes, it's only sport. And it ain't all bad at all. Ok, Ole is yet to win something but the club has moved on from the previous three awful stints. The new regime is trying to shift out the last of the dead wood and we might get another signing in. Hopefully we'll win something this year!

Spenno the last of the dead wood are being given new contracts.

Players like jones, lingard, matic, mata, bailly is another one either constant injuries or to old and no good enough are still at the club mate.

It might be progression but its too slow.

In a similar position to yourself being a newcomer and I agree with a lot your post.

We have tried the quick fix route with Mourinho and to an extent van gaal, I think people have quickly forgotten just how bad it was to watch and be a part of the fan base at that time especially with LVG’s ‘philosophy’ of boring anti-football.

We have made 2 world class signings and our squad is miles ahead of where it was when ole took over, whether that’s all down to him or not I’m positive he will of had a say in a lot of the decisions. The club is moving forward for the first time since sir Alex left and maybe ole isn’t the one to take us to that next level. But he is playing a huge part in making sure the squad and club all round is in a better place for whoever comes in after him.

I know football fans love to moan but there are positives to be found, we have to realise that we are United and have always done things the hard way. Just means it’ll feel that much better when it all falls into place!

The general tone for some time now has been negative, sometimes justified but sometimes just repeating the same things. If you aren’t completely negative then you are seen to be an Ole supporter, I am neither of those things and I suspect a lot of other posters and readers are in the same position. It would be good to have some banter and debate as to the endless moaning.
