I see the RR critic in chief is out, Holeinone or Maze or whoever, yet this is an interim manager trying to implement a system with a bunch of players who are not a team

The spine of the team, straight down the middle is awful. DDG is a good shot stopper, yet doesn't command his area and his kicking has been really poor. Best we have, because Henderson hasn't impressed at all. I haven't criticised Maguire much if at all previously, yet frankly he has been awful. He isn't doing the basics, his interception angles are wrong, getting turned. I said when the club went after Varane I was not sure and remain to be convinced. The Centre of midfield is not good enough, McTominay is limited. We rely on two centre forwards at 34 and 37. Ronaldo was a vanity purchase, he looks like he cannot do it at this level any more and his frustration is because he knows it.

In wide areas, Shaw doesn't look like he can do the running needed of a modern full back. He can do it for a short stint then can't keep up. Rashford decision making is just poor, needs a rest and refocus, to be honest if a big offer comes in, might be worth considering it.

We are a mess because of years of disjointed thinking. Three years of a so called cultural reboot which was as some of us said a disaster, put the club even further back and half a billion poorer. It was utter nonsense designed to hide the lack of any plan or strategy in a manager who didn't have the experience. That three years is really badly affecting us now. Now we find the players bought are not capable, moan about their lot, the latest being they don't like the training, they want Poch, I want, I want.

All this is backed up by a hopeless management structure, Arnold, Murtough, Fletcher, with Phelan floating.

Therefore do not expect miracles from RR, look at three years under the last manager taking standards through the floor, the lack of structure. The reality has arrived, RR is a good coach, is a good consultant yet we have disarray all around him and no sign it is being dealt with.

The RR interim position has done one thing very well, it has really highlighted the whole shambles. Fans on here moaning about RR miss the truth, he is exposing the poor players and club mess and only when that is truly exposed, the pain felt, can change really start.

I think in only a few months RR has come across as being the only professional at the club since Fergie retired. He conducts himself impeccably and there is no reason in my opinion to believe he isn't the same with the players behind the scenes, where supposedly all this unrest and grumbling is taking place (I doubt it is) .
Utd are an easy target. Supposedly the biggest club in the world, although I'm not sure it will be in the next generation. I sure don't see as many young kids walking around posing in their Utd shirts these days. The pundits and press revel in tearing them apart at the first opportunity. Even opposition managers proudly describe how they were able to dissect the team with ease. Probably a bit unprofessional of Hassenhutl to gloat openly but of course every manager knows it. Especially Rangnick who I have to believe is addressing the problem.
Ultimately he's inherited a very good side with a few outstanding players and a few duds. Like Red Man says the spine is woeful with uncertainty over every player down the middle from DDG through to CR7. I feel DDG is still good enough even if he isn't in the ball-playing category of GK the modern sides tend to favour. Ronaldo was one of the 2 top players in the world for a very long time but the club needs to be looking beyond him urgently. I think an in-form Pogba is still good for this team but we don't see it often enough. I imagine he'll be off but personally still like him in the team even if we are crying out for two more midfielders.
It looks like Dalot is now the first-choice RB, but hasn't done a great deal to prove himself which shows how little Wan-Bissaka has impressed. I can see it being AWB who moves on, not Dalot, with a new RB coming in.

Dont get the criticism of Ralf either but i would say he is an odd choice as an “interim” manager in my opinion.

The ideal “interim” is ironically someone probably like Ole, just put their arm round the shoulders and make the players feel better about themselves. Kind of like how Guus Hiddink was the go to guy at chelsea if they needed an interim, someone with a decent coaching careers whos jolly and lifts the downbeat mood at a club.

Ralf coming in midseason and trying to implement a whole new system without a pre season to coach properly was always going to be a tough ask and its panning out that way with the mixed results.

We should probably look to have an special-ist “interim” manager in the clubs contact book to call upon when the next permanent manager gets sacked in mid season.

All I keep hearing on here is RR is a very good coach, and doing so well.

Ok let’s forget his time since he been here, let's look at his previous 40 years! what backs up he is a really good coach at an elite level?

Taking a very small German club up a league?
Winning what?
Talking a good game?
Klopp and Tuchel saying he is good? What else would they say!
His CV?

Please enlighten me to what you really think makes RR a really good coach?

Or is it things were so poor under Ole towards the end anyone would do!

{Ed014's Note - why are you even moaning about Ralf, the truth is he’s there as a temp until United find the guy they want then he’ll move upstairs to his preferred role.

You’re just being an arse for no reason.

Echo that Ed…. how about keeping the blame on the supposed ‘stars of united’ the players, they’ve been awful!

{Ed014's Note - that’s exactly where it lays Tim

I'm pretty sure Holeinone's name is in reference to the hole in his own head.

The guy's a wind up merchant, just looking to start arguements. A keyboard warrior.

He either hasn't been watching the football over the past 2 years so as to see the improvements we are making, or he's too dense to be able to see it and read a game of football.

I'm going with too dense as he has both complained about a lack of an entertaining attacking style, then suggested Simeone as the man to bring that style.

Which anyone who's watched even a single Atletico game would know that is not his style.

It’s definitely just the same guy as the previous troll, don’t feed him.

Oh I am terribly sorry I don’t happen to agree with Shappy I did not know he was the ruler of all things football, ( in his own head at least) this is the person who’s past post I have just read that Praised AWB, said Shaw is one of best LB in world now he wants both gone, to same person who did not want Ole gone.
ED014 I find it quite shocking how derogatory you were against Kane in writing on here couple of days ago, but again your opinion so that’s fine, but is it led because your Arsenal and you can’t stand Spurs if so again very sad, but again if that’s your feeling and point of view that’s fine, even if differs from most, but that’s what life is about opinions!

Again I get called names on here because I have a different opinion to the usual suspects on here, why does that make me a troll or WUM…. So seems you just want everyone to agree with your views and no one can have a differing opinion is that not what these sites are for, for fans, etc to have there opinion?

If someone can’t have a debate there is no need to resort to slander…. I did ask earlier if someone can point me to the last 40 years of RR’s career in what he’s achieved at high level, that would be great but as I thought ZERO comments, which is not surprising.

{Ed014's Note - fella you’re are so obviously a troll whose been previously banned or just a total nugget.

I see you’ve already given up on redtints and Je Zeus or whatever it was.

Give being an imbecile a break or I’ll give you a permanent one!

I think red man has nailed it. RR is doing a good job. If the idiots playing up front had taken one of the 20 chanced they created in each of the last three games, then we would not be debating this now.
DSG, the last thing these overhyped, overrated, lazy players we have, is for someone to put an arm round their shoulder and molly cuddle them, Solskjaer did this for three years and he's part of the reason these idiots are acting like they are.
I maintain what I said previously, our fans at OT, should make a symbolic gesture in each match to make these dickheads realise that we do not like their behaviour. We have a voice on match days, so let's use it.

Holeinone, you keep on digging that hole ?️ ?

As you've obviously been on this site (probably under several different names) for a long time then you will be aware that not everyone has to agree with me. In fact pretty much every regular has disagreed with me many times. And that's cool, I have no problem with people having different opinions. That is actually why I come on here, to read the other opinions.

However, it's just so obvious that you just on the wind up. All the subtlety of a sledgehammer I'm afraid.

I'm not a legal expert but I'm sure slander is spoken defamation of character, it's libel that is written. Also I'm not sure what people have said about you on here is either seeing as your using an anonymous account like the rest of us.
