While I really didn't expect us to make top four given our remaining fixture. I still expect some effort from the players. Its now time for RR to play some of the good young players and get them experience and see if they have what it takes to step up. There are big games left let's see what they are made of.

I don't agree let's not throw them into the fire while people/ the media still think there's a chance of top 4. i'd much rather allow the new manager to bring in the youngsters in a more positive environment.

Also i want to see the attitude of these players their reputations are getting worse, is anyone going to stand up and try and get people going? Remenber these things might not happen on the pitch.

Rangnicks job now is to watch the first team players and judge who has the attitue and personality to play for a club like united, whilst weeding out those who are happy to sit collect their money and watch things burn.

I’m not a major Rashford fan but Elanga’s performance today (and Sancho’s to a slightly lesser extent) had even less end product of quality than Rashford has produced in any game this season.
But as his name’s not Marcus, it would t get mentioned.

Rangnick has said as much in the media over the weekend, he said we need a massive rebuild, clearly he knows what needs to be done. he said we need hungry players not just names. It’s up to the club now to follow his advice. Not entirely convinced they will.

Cant agree on that Downsie, Rashford was invisible, except for the Elanga tackle. Also, he was terrible through the whole season.
I don't usually rate him, I think he is too selfish and make slow and bad choices quite often, but at least before he had some results, now there are none.

As much as I'd like a complete overhaul of literally 2/ 3 of the starting line-up, we have to be realistic. I can't see a revamp of the entire strikeforce.

Cavani is off, Ronaldo could leave, Greenwood is highly unlikely to play for us again, Martial is. well, Martial, and Rashford is going through probably the biggest drop-off in form that I can remember a Utd player ever having. A move would probably do him good and no doubt there would be clubs interested.

We need 3-4 attacking options (exc. wide players) . It doesn't feel like Martial fits in the pressing, high-tempo Prem, but neither is he taking his chance in a different environment.

I think Rashford, Ronaldo, a promotion from our youth team (Garnacho? ) plus one new signing up front could be what we're looking at next season.

Having watched what I called an utter shambles performance yesterday. I can only agree that we need to bring in some young players now. The problem is one of morale and lack of confidence in the squad. Apart from Bruno and Fred nobody really gets stuck in. The main issues are right back where we are completely vulnerable gama after game and central midfield where we give the ball away far too often and let teams runs through us. Until these two issues are resolved we won't improve and results will go against us. It doesn't matter who is in charge - these are the main issues and I wouldn't pay good monet to go and see them right now.
