SAF has given Real Madrid permission to speak to Rooney and Chicarito after accepting an offer of 40million + Ozil. You heard it here first, I wouldn't post on here if i wasn't at least 90% sure.

-------------------------------------------
I heard this aswell but didn't believe it was true, but now that you've said it aswell i'm worried.

What a load of bollocks! For a start 40mil + Ozil wouldn't even match the valuation for Rooney. Why would Sir Alex even consider selling his first choice strike partnership to European rivals when everyone knows winning the European Cup before he retires is one of his main priorities?

considering that rooney signed a 5 year contract earlier in the season i cant see rooney leaving for less than £60million also hernandez himself has said that he will not leave Manchester United as he owes alex alot also i believe alex would want at least £40million for hernandez so if madrid wanted rooney and hernandez they would need at least £100million

The Sun on friday claimed United had spent £55m. £18.5 on Dea Gea, £20m on Young and £16m on Jones... However, none of these players have put pen to paper yet.

De Gea can't because of the rule about not signing players from abroad until july 1st.

Young cancelled his wedding and has gone on holiday for a week so we won't hear anything about Young for atleast another week or so.

Jones I honestly can't see him being a United player next season. The deal has stalled because Blackburn have turned round and said they want £25m for him. SAF is not stupid... He won't pay that amount of money for someone who isn't even first team player at Blackburn.Jones has a £16 million minimum fee release clause which means that any club that meet that valuation can speak to him about a transfer to their club.

The Venkys misunderstood what the minimum fee clause meant. Theoretically speaking they can't do anything about it. They have spat theri dummies out because they want more for him. In the end there isn't really alot they can do about it. Funnily enough everyone has jumped on the bandwagon and blown this out of proportion. Remember Jones has had a medical and agreed terms.

Ed can you confirm that what i have writen is write, albeit Venkys could go to court but would more thn likely lose!! {Ed001's Note - there is no telling what could happen over the release clause. An agent told me that they don't believe release clauses are legally enforcable in the UK.}

From what i can see nothing should happen to Ravel Morrison. I know of criminals that have done far worse and got a suspended sentence only to commit further offences and get community service and fines. I just hope he can stay out of trouble from now on and maybe lose his girlfriend.

Excuse me?! How much did United pay for Rooney again!? Was Rooney a first teamer for Everton then? {Ed012's Note - He played 35 games for Blackburn and missed the others due to injury/ being rested by Allardyce. Jack Rodwell is a prime example of how injuries can build up if you play too much PL football too early)

Evening all. I'v been taken all this news in over the last few weeks and some of it has been good a lot of it hasn't. The good part obviously is there is a fair chunk of money at Sir Alex's disposal. Jones coming in is a welcome signing, De Gea was almost nailed on for months now but Young for a reported 18-20 million isn't a great deal IMO. He will be better surrounded by better players but is this a step up or step sideways?

I don't post a lot but I do read the site everyday or so but when I have posted some of them have been directed at Nani. The boy frustrates the hell out of me but after persevering with him for years now I think we're close to player we hoped he'd be, so why on earth would we sell now. If we get silly money i agree he should go but not selling Nani for say 26-28 million and buying Young for 18 is bad business in my humble opinion. We need steel in the middle of the park more than a creative player. We'll always create chances with this team even with the Godlike Scholes gone.

I just like to say to all the Ed's, it's been great watching the site grow from one page of rumours to the fantastic way it is now in only a year, truly amazing.

Guys, we can really be optimistic right now.
We have signed the best young goalkeeper in the world in De Gea, set piece specialist and versatile english attacker in Young and future John Terry who can also play as a DM very well. The only thing we need to sort out is one CM. And we have all summer left. The transfer window hasn't even opened yet and we have 3 signings already. And with Nasri deal looking more and more likely... Nasri recently made it clear that he would be comfortable to join another English club apart from Tottenham when he said: "I'm not saying I will not play for another English club except Spurs. When I play for one club, I can't play for their biggest rivals.

"Money is not the most important thing. I am 23, what's important is that I have a good team that can get better."

Happy days

Make's me laugh the people on here that say we are going to sell Hernandez especially for £20 million to Real Madrid. If players like Henderson etc are worth £20 million then Hernandez is worth up to double that for a start...! Anyway Real Madrid want to improve their own scouting as all they do is spend stupid amounts on Players that other teams work hard on scouting and bringing to their club.. I HATE THE VIRUS.....!

"everyone is posting what they hope will happen, which is nasri, sanchez, young. this is not going to happen we already have nani and valencia two good wingers. unfortunately SAF has gone and got the worst out of all the three.
berbatov and carrick to leave which will leave money for about 20 and 10 mil respectively to give sir alex a bit of spending money for a centre mid - not modric too expensive for what he is will likely be hamsik."

Nasri is NOT a winger. He is a central attacking midfielder which is where he played for Arsenal when Fabregas was out. That was the part of the season when he was outstanding. Also Carrick wont be sold as he has experience, was a consistant performer at the end of last season and is actually quite good at what he does contrary to popular belief.

I know more people have been warming to the idea but there are still a lot of United fans that oppose us signing Young. However, if you think about it left wingers is probably the weakest position at the moment at least in European football. There are tons of super right wingers but when it comes to the left there are very few excellent left footed ones. This therefore makes Young a lot better than it actually seems he is and in fact quite good value for money.

Er except young is right footed !

All this ' you heard it first' is such bull. Having read this site everyday for two years it is clear that whenever it comes up, it's not true. Anything remotely significant is brought up by sky sports first and we have it churned out by everyman and his dog on here, It's a little tiring to say the least.
On to other matters, out here in Calgary all my buddies were talking about Nasri to Utd. It kinda shows you how big the British press are really. I personally think if we can get him for 15 mill then I'd bite your hand off. But i'll only believe it when hes holding up the shirt at OT.

Was glad we missed out on hendersen didn't really see him being a set up from carrick. I hope nani stays because on his day he is in real, I will always remember that night at OT against bayern. ED why would he want to go to juve? They aren't even in the champions league? Roland {Ed004's Note - Just for a change in style, maybe, a new challenge}

Against Barcelona, we lacked a destructive midfield general. Fletch is great, he is rangy and covers the ground quickly, playing the ball simply but was shown up by Ramsey, when the Scots played the Welsh. Carrick plays well and has a good reading of the game and manages to intercept, but his goalscoring record should be so much better, I think we need someone to stamp their authority on a game, and spray the ball about a bit. Maybe Jones can fill that gap, but he isn't that nippy, or Pogba, who is still a bit green.

Someone earlier suggested that there are no strong left footers about, what about Douglas Costa? He has indicated in the past, that he would jump at the chance of joining us.

I just want to know one thing:
Why has no-one put pen to paper? Apparently we hav signed De gea, Young and Jones.
De Gea denies this and would prefer to move to Barca if the rumours are to be believed.
Blackburn say they now want 25 million for Jones, are they having a laugh he hasn't even had a full season. I personally wouldn't pay 8 million for him and thats not because I don't think he is good player it's because he is still relatively unknown.
I don't know what is happening with Ashley Young has he signed or not

"SAF has given Real Madrid permission to speak to Rooney and Chicarito after accepting an offer of 40million + Ozil. You heard it here first, I wouldn't post on here if i wasn't at least 90% sure."

Firstly, why would Madrid allow Ozil to leave? Why would Ozil want to leave?

Secondly, why would ferguson sell the strikeforce that has clearly got a great understanding.

Rooney doesn't want to leave! He stated on twitter in the last week that he will only leave United when they don't want him.

Hernandez doesn't want to leave. He stated the other week that he owes a huge debt to Fergie for bringing him to Europe and that he loves playing in the great Manchester United team.

I'm gonna hazard a guess that you would post this on here if you dreamt it last night, which is the only place it could or would happen. {Ed012's Note

You have got to laugh at these Indian owners at Blackburn, they saw the interview on SSN with Harry Redknapp saying they have got a bargain there, ex-Blackburn Gallagher puts his ten pence worth in saying he was worth at least £25m, so the clueless Indians thought they will try and hold United to ransom. Jones wants the United move, United want the Jones move and the deal was agreed on £16m (the buyout clause). There's no going back now my Indian friends. These Venky's lot were always going to be a problem for football. They were devastated that Jones had so many teams after him, that they are trying to revive the auction. But it's pointless as he has already chosen his suitors in United. It's all about the wording in the contract. It's very likely that Blackburn are clutching at straws here. The player wants the United move, he has passed a medical, he has agreed to his 40k a week five years deal. So it's pretty much a done deal.

It's encouraging to note the trasnferr activity going on at the minute. However one thing concerns me. We need to find an enforcer or midfield general, I've always said that we have never repalced Roy Keane, For me this is a crucial requirement. The problem is I can't think of anyone of real note who can do the job. Roy Keane had games won even before he went onto the pitch. Ask Patrick Vieira he knows.

Ed, I really do not understand the reasoning behind the potential sale of Nani. He is easily our most dangerous player and only goal-threat when Rooney isn't playing. Despite what people may say, Young is nowhere near him in terms of talent. To persevere with him for 3 years despite his poor form and then sell him after he's been the best player in the league just seems utterly ridiculous. Do you really see him being sold, even if we do not secure Sanchez? {Ed007's Note - From what I can gather, Nani will be in Italy next year, right or wrong AF sells at the right time for the good of the club}
