good result tonight hernandaz looked really sharp. good to see zaha but to be honest he didn't play great at all I taught he slows the game down when he gets on the ball and also young was terrible he crosses like a 10 year old girl he gets paid money to play football my god it amazes me to how he every made it as a footballer.

Young is a perpetual disappointment. How he still gets in the team is beyond reason.
Zaha had a good game. Not great, good.
Januzaj has world class potential. How he will be handled is yet to be seen

God the lad has played zero competitive football since the community shield, what were you expecting from him? I don't think he was fantastic but he had a few great touches, got to the byline and got a good cross in on a couple of occasions and ran at defenders when he could. He clearly wasn't match fit and sure that's the reason he got taken off.
Didn't think young was especially bad tonight, he was involved in quite a lot, his crossing was poor but that's a given.
Agree0
Disagree0
I think he slowed a lot of the game down but he's stil young and I still have hope for him. young should be sold and i'm not just sayin it because fabio scored but why hasn't he got a game ahead of evra, evra has been dreadful for the last few years but yet still manages to play the most games every year.
Agree0
Disagree0
This was the perfect opportunity where Moyes should of played Kagawa in the no. 10 role instead of Januzaj.
With Zaha on the right and Januzaj on the left. Why he chose to play young is beyond me?
Anderson should of started alongside cleverly, as Jones is a make shift central midfielder as his preferred position is at centre back. Playing as the Jack of all trades is doing harm to his development IMO.
Agree0

Sheesh, a 4-0 win and some people are still not happy.
Agree0

Nik,
Kagawa has played the full 90 minutes of the last 2 games, any player who has done that did not start yesterday, it was good squad rotation, I actually thought Young did ok, and we won 4-0, so surely the team selection was spot on?
Agree0
Disagree0
Very happy with that result. We actually played some good football I thought, and finally got a landslide win so hopefully we can kick on from here.
Januzaj really is a special, special player.
Zaha showed glimpses, faded but that's expected given it was his first game of the season.
Agree0
Disagree0
To add.
If Buttner could sort his head out defensively, we could potentially have a quality LB for a pittance. His crossing and willingness to get forward is really good, if he could polish the rest of his game, he'd be fine. i'm still not sure he can.
Agree0
Disagree0
I agree with you GDS and I am over the moon with that result. I guess I just wanted to see what kagawa could offer playing solely the no. 10 role without competing with Rooney for position.
Its just frustrating to see Jones playing 3 different positions, the poor guy needs a position to call his own and work hard at it in order to cement his place in the side.
I'm all for rotation to see what options are available but playing an average winger, who we all know very well about his capabilities and a centre back, make shift into midfield I just don't agree with.
Agree0
Disagree0
RED I agree with you about Buttner but last night I didn't see many probably with his defending, only remember a few times where a player got the better of him. I think he's improving quite a bit and is becoming confident and comfortable on the ball. Like you said he's great and getting forward and 99% of his crosses last night were decent. I think Rafael also looked class last night, didn't put a single foot wrong but people over look that because we're so used to him playing at that high level now. I can't remember him losing the ball and makes some great first touch passes.
Agree0
Disagree0
Always liked Chicha, Rafa, Fabio and felt sorry for Chica and Fabio for the past couple of years, but I hope they really pick up some game time.
Zaha was as some says, is given. He is very raw. Ronny lost his possession often in his early years at OT. Zaha needs a lot more improvements to be at the level or Ronny, but I think we should play him more often. This is a 20 year old youngster. We need to be patient with him unlike with Nani / Valencia or Young.

Woodwards comments this last few days are actually quite interesting if you consider them in the overall picture
1) Woodward and the owners were very clear in summer that Moyes was SAFs choice
2) It has been made clear either deliberately or otherwise that despite SAFs recommendations, even pleas to keep the back room team together Moyes decided he was his own man, ditched key men and brought his own selection in.
3) Woodward has clearly indicated this week that the player purchases set up by SAF for the summer were vetoed by Moyes as he wished to assess further.
If you look at this as a whole, Woodward and the owners effectively just distanced themselves from Moyes, highlighting all the decisions were his, it suggests on player purchases and sales he even went against SAF. Whether Woodward meant it this week he has made it clear that Moyes is making all the decisions and it isn't anything to do with the CEO or owners, it drops Moyes in it and therefore if it goes wrong.

Ed Woodward is merely telling the truth. There is nothing sinister in this.
Agree0

Am I right in assuming the SAF deals were Alcantara and Strootman?
Still doesn't explain how Moyes paid £4m more for a player who's £23m buyout clause he surely had a hand in setting in the first place!
Think we need the LB and CM were crying out for on 1st Jan. If not here by the 10th they won't be happening!

Red man, what Moyes is doing is what all great leaders do - they take full responsibility for the range of their domain. I'm actually quite pleased and proud to hear that DM is taking charge and leading the line. we need a leader, Moyes is leading from the front. regardless whether he fails or succeeds it will be on his terms, and if you read SAF's new book you'll see the he has the same leader qualities as Sir Alex.

The point is all the decisions have been laid at Moyes door, in other words don't ask Woodward or the Glazers for answers to your questions. If it goes wrong Woodward has made it clear who is to blame. I hope it goes right fir Moyes but they have laid the foundation to deal with it if it doesn't.

Jono
There is a difference between leading and managing and I have posted before that I have yet to see Moyes display leadership qualities. There is more to leadership than taking accountability and responsibility for your domain.
Agree0
Disagree0
Red Man, I don't think DM has issue with his leadership, but concern over his ability to make good decision in picking the right squad and buying the right players at good price. That is source of his criticism.
Agree0
Disagree0
Just imagine the amount of respect Moyes will command if he turns this season around and we start doing well and remain successful? Rather than just being the 'puppet' everyone thought he was. Now we're on a winning run of 6 games now in all competitions I think all the players are starting to get that confidence back, hopefully we carry it on in the league.

Ozwald, we're on a winning streak of 2 games ( Sociedad, Stoke and Norwich, nothing to brag about ) and on an undefeated streak of 6 games ( Southampton and Shakhtar being draws ).

Try Ronaldo7.net, it has a wide variety of streams for each game.Just wait till 15 mins before the match starts because the links could not be posted until then.

First row is always good

Used to go to ronaldo7, but usa goals is the best I've seen so far. You have about 40 different links for each game
Agree0

Do these sites work better by installing the media players and add ons that they recommend? I try to avoid the pop ups for pc security reasons, but it would be interesting to know if anyone has installed any of the add one on these sites and if they are "safe".

Thanks went with ronaldo7.net

No don't download anything, clear the clutter and press play.

Wiziwig.tv is quite good, I think first row has now been blocked

Dont install ANYTHING from these sites, there just ads, all you need is flash player installed.
get adblocker aswel it helps alot.

I have given up using the link websites - even the best seem to work well for a while and then just stop start. I missed the two goals near half-time on Saturday because of this. I finally downloaded Acestream and used the link through wiziwig for the second half and it was much much better - great definition on a full screen and stopped much less.

So what are your predictions for the Ballon D'Or top three?
For me the top 3 would/should be -
Messi
Ribery
Ronaldo
Deeps.
Believable0
Unbelievable0
It should be those three but who knows. Ribery might not make it because of their love for Spanish league. Just looking at the shortlist you can see how many good players have been avoided and those who did nothing are there just because of their reputation. Only Lewandowski from Dortmund after their displays last year tells us everything about this personic award. Vidal not on the list but Pirlo makes it. I have a feeling that Messi will win it again, after all he breaks records even if Barcelona are humialiated by Ribery and co.
Agree0

Messi will obviously win it as he can do no wrong even though he definitely does not deserve it.
Agree0

Mine would be
Robben
Ribery
Ronaldo
Agree0

Fresh, 60 goals and 16 assists in all competitions, considering it is an individual award. I think "he does not deserve it" is a little OTT.
Deeps.

I think Ibrahimovic could win it.

Robben has been stunning since he started putting a shift in.

Messi should have been banned a while ago regardless.

Messi and Ronaldo SHOULD take the top two places. As good as some other players have been those two are miles ahead of the pack.
I'd like to see Ribery take third spot as he was Bayern's best player and Bayern were the team to beat last year. Zlatan has probably played a little better over the past twelve months but Ribery has contributed to a treble winning team and IMO there has not been THAT much between the two. Schweinsteiger should be in with an outside chance of top three too.
Am I the only one annoyed by Xavi's inclusion in the shortlist? He's a fantastic player but was well below his best last year and based on his performances doesn't deserve a spot. It seems as though he's on the list because he is Xavi rather than because he was one of the 23 best players. Also Hazard; who was no better than players like Michu, Benteke and Lukaku.

It should be called the Messi love-in
