With all the stories going round at the moment with van Persie leaving, Di Maria leaving, and Chica potentially leaving ( if he recovers from injury) and Wilson going out on loan (potentially).
I can't help but think that we have at least 1 main striker ready to sign.
With a return to the champions league and the expectation for the club to be fighting on all fronts. You would expect the club to have at least 4 strikers . If Rooney gets injured Who would play up front?
What do you guys think?

Phil jones is currently retraining as a striker, for one on ones and penaltys he has an arsenal of distracting turn and face pulls

Well there is certainly a lot of change. We started last season with Rooney, Falcao, Van Persie, Welbeck, Hernandez and Wilson, that list has been chopped. massively! We now just have Rooney, Hernandez and Wilson (assuming RVP will be gone in days). Hernandez would be going as LVG does not seem very complimentary about him at all and Wilson needs a loan which he looks like he will get. So that really does just leave us with Rooney. Now, I think Depay will be a choice through the middle. So that gives us two strikers. We probably need another as well, Chelsea had 3 last year and did okay.
The mvoe for Muller speaks volumes to me, Bale also. Both players can play through the middle (Muller more so than Bale) but are also fantastic outwide. It needs to be one of those two.
