Sky sports are now reporting that bayern are now in talks with godin, which surely means Benatia is not going there. Woodward seriously does need to get the money spent on Benatia as he's a world class centre half which we need!
1.) I've read in a few places now that Bayern prefer Godin to Benatia - fingers crossed this could clear a path.
2.) I really do hope so! I feel Benatia is the exact defender we need, big, strong, quick but more importantly a leader and has experience although not too old!

I seem to feel we will oull one more big signing off but who will it be and who would we prefer as this signing. As we know we're linked with do Maria but with us now playing this new formation where would he really fit in? Yes I know he dropped back and played in midfield for real last season but in this formation the two centre midfielders need to be disaplined and be more holding midfeilders. Then I feel he would be wasted in a wing back position and if he played somewhere in the front triangle that would mean either Rooney mata or RVP missing out, so although I certainly wouldn't complain I feel he wouldn't e the best option if we only had one more signing in us.
I feel if we were to make this I think Benatia or Vidal would be the best options as they would be filling areas of the formation we need. They are both world class players but the ony downside is that they only play in Italy which isn't the strongest league.
Any way I really do hope we pull off a marquee signing and preferably one of those two, although I wouldn't complain about do Maria.
1.) If we do not get in the cm that we desperately need then it doesn't really matter who else we sign because without a solid centre to your team you will never win anything
2.) Why do so many people think this 3-5-2 formation is for keeps, he's using it due to the lack of quality wide men. he's already said this, do people not listen. van galls preferred system is 4-3-3 so if we can get di maria then we can change to that system with di maria and januzaj eithr side of rooney or van persie.
3.) My idea 100 percent stretfordender1980 if one of Rooney or Van Persie were out we could go 4-3-3 sacrifice a defender for a midfielder or play Jones there
