Just wanted to give my respects to the great Bill Foulkes

RIP Billy Foulkes - I remember clearly the 1968 European Cup Semi-final second leg in Madrid when we were 3-1 down at HT (3-2 agg). I was listening (aged 14) to the radio and was gutted then a City fan 'mate' of mine came knocking on the door to take the p**s and to my eternal shame I hid away. Bill came up with the second goal in the second half (I can't remember him ever scoring another goal!) then Dave Sadler knocked in the equaliser and the rest is history. I enjoyed hunting out my mate at the end of the game - thanks for the memories BILL.
3.) Al you've brought back memories! I can still remember that crackly radio reception at our house in Old Trafford (anybody remember Duke St.?! Amazing turn around!
Rest in peace Bill - a lovely man by all accounts.
