Hi Guys
First time post so please be gentle with me, someone has suggested a swap deal with Chelsea Rooney for Mata does anyone think this is a good idea, it maybe a way of sorting two problems in one without the need for any financial outlay ie we move on an unsettled player and get an attacking /creative midfielder something which we all agreed we need. We would still have funds available for our other targets, I personally would like us to make a bid for Michu as he seems to be a different style of forward to the ones we have

1.) In my opinion this would be a very good move, even though for me it's highly unlikely. First of all I don't see where Rooney would fit in our team now that Rvp is the main striker and rightly so and it would be better if we used Kagawa in the hole next year rather than on the left wing because he will be able to show his full talent only in this position. We shouldn't use Rooney on cm ofc we should buy a true cm instead. And I don't think he would be good on the wing either.
Then we would have Mata who would be a very creative addition to our side and with still many many years in front of him. Mata on the left wing, Kagawa in the hole and Valencia or Nani or even Zaha on the right wing all behind Rvp would be a perfect forward line, wouldn't it?Let's just hope it happens.
