1.) What's frustrating for me is hearing that SAF set up the Thiago deal months ago and when Moyes was asked to okay the deal to get it wrapped up, he says he is worried about whether he can handle the physicality of the EPL and decided to pull the plug. Now for me that is a woeful decision by the new manager and one that will cost us I'm sure.
2.) Well, well, well, it seems my source was right all along. the Glazers were expecting 3 signings, one of which was to indeed be a marquee signing. Reports coming out of Florida are stating that the Glazers are furious with woodentop and are demanding an explanation as to why they did not materialize. He WAS given a no ceiling budget, and were convinced that a BIG NAME signing WOULD be coming to OT, along with Fellaini AND Baines! Ronaldo being the preferred marquee. January could now be busy.
