Hi Guys
A really good win today and things look pretty good at the moment but we still have to get over the line.
Eds is there any news on any injuries today both Evans and Jones went off with what looked like injuries.
I'm really looking forward to the games against Real especially seeing Ronnie back home on the 5th of March

I don't think they were injuries. but precautionary measures because they both have come back after a spell on sidelines
but let's see what are the updates

Shamlk!
Agree, Evans looked fine!, Jones had bit limp imo but didn't look serious as he would of made way at half time! More worried about the wingers for Real games? Valencia, Kagawa, Naini? Just not firing on all cylinders all season, usually or big weapon! Giggs must start by looks things?

Agree0 Disagree3

No chance of giggs playing after playing yesterday, he isn't 25 anymore!

Not firing on all cylinders! Cant't remember any of them even firing on half a cylinder.
Nani is away in the summer and i'm fine with that.
I think Kagawa is going to be good.
Really worried about Valencia, seems to have completely lost it. He's not done a thing all season and played regulary so he's had plenty of chances to find some form. Could be a massive player for the run in though if he does sort his form out.

i know the UCL game against Madrid is important 'BUT' getting the prem league back seeing as its citeh who currently hold it, to me is more important? both would be nice, just being realistic? agreed? or not?

The league is the cake, the champions league would be the cherry on top.

Every single season I only care about winning the league (this year more than most after last season)

Anything else is a bonus, including the CL.

Really looking forward to the game today, we should have been under all sorts of pressure from Citeh, playing a team that has shown they are capable of turning us over and being a couple of days before midweek in Madrid.

It is unthinkable that they missed this opportunity this weekend, and makes me think they are not even title contenders. Imagine if we had done the same in reverse? Fergy would have beheaded half the team by kicking swords round the dressing room!

Yes it is critical we win today to stamp our authority all over the title. But Citeh have given us a freebee, there are only so many teams genuinely capable of beating us in the league. I can't see 4 "slip ups" against lesser teams.

Stretching the lead this weekend is huge when you put it in context : )

Dont get to much enthusiatic mate. last season we thrown 8 point lead with 6 games remaining. So I will not discard city's chances just yet. Till our lead is unbeatable.

You're talking like we have a great team. Fact is we're top of a poor league playing poorly. can't complain though.

Yes we are in the driving seat but there's a long way to go. It isn't a poor league. Its closer this year because the lower teams are playing really well, which is another reason to be cautious. It may look like an easier run in for us, but the lower sides are playing really well. We'll be champions when we are one more point ahead of second place than there is to play for, and not before!

Its not a poorer league at all. Teams like west brom, stoke, everton and spurs have all improved and made it more competable. Teams like arsenal and liverpool have declined. Its tighter than it was. Its a better league than spain which is just scotland with better weather where two teams fight for the title four teams fight it out for the european places and rest just try to avoid relegation. Best two leagues in europe is the prem and the buli.

'Fergy would have beheaded half the team by kicking swords round the dressing room!'

Haha I imagined that. TOO FUNNY.

Poor league? you kidding mate.
Do you know anything about competetiveness. which is high in epl. Physicality is high here still we see team at number 20 defet team at top four. Whr in bundesliga its all bayern till now. in spl it always barca or madrid.
U are really nieve to think such.

"I was on the road this week. I heard that Lewandowski has an agreement with Bayern. Only the date of the move remains undecided, " Matthaus told TV Bundesliga.

"Lewandowski's contract runs out in 2014 and Dortmund will only get a fee in 2013 - surely a high fee. I heard it was something between €25m-€30m [£21-25m], otherwise he will go to Bayern for free next year. "
