This Nasri rumour started when Evra said he was a good player.Nasri is probably blowing it out of porportion because his contract runs out soon and he wants big wages.

few of the rumours on the rounds lads.......united do have an interest in nasri. arsenal have not been approached but we will up our interest in a.o.c of southampton. this maybe so that if we do decide to go for nasri we will "let arsenal have him".
As for modric......i have heard that a bid is being prepared. 25mill plus carrick. spurs are not interested in a deal including berba.
Finally and probably the most outlandish one iv heard.....10mill plus nani for de rossi .

Also i heard from a source that when we sold rodrigo possebon to santos last summer there was a clause saying that we will have first refusal on ganso...! united have neally completed the double signing of Nasri and Wishire, 40million plus carrick and obertan going the opposite direction!! ........................Unless i am wrong if your neighbour lives near the Emirates Stadium then so do you! As stated earlier from a very good source located in the MUFC marketing department Young will be signing (post holiday), as for Nasri i have it on good authority that he is not playing the wages game with Afc ala rooney but is indeed interested in competing for league titles and European glory. Although this doesnt mean it will be MUFC that sign
Him but his reps made the initial approach. De Gea, Jones and Young were 3/4 targets that Saf wanted to bring in. Nasri is a bonus and a welcome one after sanchez' move to Barca gathers pace who was Saf 4th target. A quiet weekend transfer wise but expect the Nasri saga completed by Weds. 60/40 to come to OT.

His represntative have not meet with any1 from man utd. tho manchester utd an glazer people have meet with arsenals people on thurs at arsenals office in central london. sir alex wants to deal correctly with arsenals wenger. would love him at utd so news will most likely explode over weekend an next week about this deal

Reports are that Samir Nasri is somewhere in Manchester talking to representatives about a move and if some sort of agreement can be made today there is a booking for him to go through a medical at a manchester hospital.

This will be doing the rounds on Twitter very very soon.

Ed, have you heard anything about this. This is quiet exciting and it seems to be moving quite quickly.

Manchester United have officially begun talks with Samir Nasri about a possible move from Arsenal to Old Trafford. Both United and Nasri's representatives met up in Manchester on Thursday, and this latest development will not be good news for Gunner manager Arsene Wenger, who will now have to decide if he should keep the player on his contract based on principle, or sell him to ensure that the London side does not miss out on a valuable transfer fee.

Can we assume that De Gea and Young are 2 of 3 that Sir Alex wanted to bring in? I dont think we can count Jones as 1 of the 3, as I don't think Sir Alex even knew he'd be buying him this summer.

We can now expect a Scholes replacement. Sneijder's ruled himself out. Harry says Modric isn't going - we'll see. And l fully expect Nasri to stay where he is. So I have no idea who it's going to be.

As for out-going players, VDS, Neville, Scholes, Kuszczak are all gone. The wage bill is going to be reduced dramatically this summer. Add the possibilities of:

to the chap saying about the strikers, i agree that we won't be signing any more. But just to let you know, berbatov and macheda are likely to leave and king will be going out on loan. Sir alex has said that both welbeck and diouf will be playing at old trafford next season along with hernandez rooney and owen i expect young will keane will be limited to reserve team football for this year only stepping up if theres an injury crisis with maybe a loan next year. Meaning we'll have 5 first team strikers in our squad for next season(although welbeck doesn't count as 1 of the 25 man squad due to his age.)

Come on lads you need to be smarter, United are doubling Young's 40k a week 'current Villa wage', not the 65k Villa were offering him to sign a new deal. Young will be on around 80k a week at United.

Also Jones is done, fee is between £15m-£16.5m, I think the hold-up is the amount of add-on clauses that we want to pay. For example £11m cash + £5m in add-on's, or £13m cash + £3.5m in add-on's. You see what I mean?

United will not pay more than the buyout clause which is apparently £16.5m. I think he will be signed for £15m. A third of which could be add-on clauses.
