Eds,do any of you know of any interest from us in gaston ramirez of bologna,i think he is a fabulous player and could make the switch to the prem, thanks for any replies.
Ste73 {Ed002's Note - Whilst Gaston Ramirez has been watched by Liverpool I remain unsure as to how strong the interest is from the club. A move to Sevilla, Palermo or Juventus, who have made a firm offer, is also possible - although unsubstantiated rumours suggest Manchester United, Barcelona, Chelsea and Real Madrid are also interested. He was available in January for about 15M euro and his agent was looking for a signing on fee for the player as well.}

Thanks very much ed,wow cant believe nobody snapped him up for that, big strong and full of skill.

Pogba came on against stoke, everton beat city... pogba comes on against wba and swansea beat city, game plan 4 the rest of the season ?? bring on pogba in every game

Believable24 Unbelievable2

Or them two games are when we played at the exact same time and City can't handle the pressure.

No Kompany = no chance, shows how good our squad is to cope without Vidic, even though everybody on here thinks we are so weak and need lots of new arrivals!

GDS

Agree0 Disagree0

We cope reasonably well without Vidic, but whenever he is in our back four our defence is so much stronger! I swear Vidic must be the best CB in the world, can't think of anyone else who loves a good tackle as much as the Serbian wall.

Ozwald

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't forget about how he handles corners and wins 90% of the headers.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's not in defense where we struggle it's midfield!

Simmo

SAF brings Pogba on when games are already won. Still needs to prove himself at the top table

if man utd want to buy some cheap players in the summer , in the people today moussa dembele was linked with man utd and what about junior hoilett who's contract is at the summer and looks a brillant player for the future

Believable7 Unbelievable11

Dembele would be a terrible signing i think, would rather have Dempsey. Ideally, i would have neither.

RedDevil19

Agree0 Disagree0

What about the winger at Wolves Ward -quick, direct, great crosser f the ball -like Valencia -effective not pretty -great squad player -the strikers would love him -combine him with a target man and happy days!!

What a difference 3 days can make. Thursday evening were all down in the dumps, United are awful and everyone needs to be sold. Now however were top of the league, absolutely ecstatic and looking forward to number 20. This is why club football is so good.

SAF has just said Pogba is still undecided, so hold your horses.

Could it be that's it's not all about money, I think there's a chance he might get a game Sunday
jred

Agree0 Disagree0

It's all about money for his agent, that is the worrying issue. I think he may play in the Europa Jred mate. I have a feeling the manager will rest a few players again. Scholes, Rafael, Ferdinand, Welbeck & Carrick won't play, I think Cleverley, Jones, Smalling, Hernandez & Pogba will play. I think Nani & Valencia will play with Young maybe getting a rest, perhaps he will be a sub?

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

I think fergy will play a stronger team on thursday than he does Sunday

does any one agree that Jesas Navas would be great for us. Quick, great dealivery and he can shoot and pass.

But is he better than valencia?

Good player but he suffers from severe home sickness.
Will never happen.

Supasub

Agree0 Disagree0

He gets notoriously homesick - unless he moved with all his friends and family to Manchester he'd never sign!

Agree0 Disagree0

He won't leave Spain, he has really bad home sickness ! H e just about lasted the worl cup !!

Agree0 Disagree0

It isnt home sickess, Jesus Navas suffers with severe anxiety problems, that can be triggered or encouraged by being away from home. There have ben questions about his mental stability for years. benitez was going to sign him for Liverpool but pulled out after an insight into his issues. Good player, that could be great, but prob wont be caus he wont grow unless he moves.
PJJ

Agree0 Disagree0

While I do agree that Jesus Navas is an excellent winger of great quality he has a notorious history of homesickness which has hindered his career progressing beyond the outskirts of Seville

Guessing Pogba has signed a new deal judging by his inclusion on the bench? I do hope United haven't given him what he wanted, every other youngster will want parity with his wages if United have. Oh well a talent none the less hope to see him on in the second half.

Lots of interesting news flying around today, firstly the Pogba news is interesting. Apparently he is about to sign a new deal and is therefore back in the squad to face West Brom. I think if he is on the bench or gets on at any point he will be staying, no way would SAF include him unless he was commited to the squad.

Secondly, SAF travelled to Lille last night to watch match, he was believed to be watching Hazard. That could prove that we do have an interest or are about to have an interest. He has been watched a few times so that could be the Attacking Midfielder that we are looking for. I'd certainly be happy with that and i think he'd have an interest, if we went in and it was between us and Totenham then i think he'd choose us.

Lastly, lets stuff West Brom today and get back on track after mid weeks rubbish result. Can't wait!

Hazards old man has apparently urged his son to join spurs? If this were to happen would modric be available? answer, no! why? I'm told if he doesn't sign a new contract he is likely to go to spain! would a huge offer lure him to ot? Again I'm told offers would have to be around the £40mill mark? think its a prolific forward needed tbh??

Agree0 Disagree0

Is Modric worth over 30 mil he doesnt score and doesnt make many goals to me he is over rated......

Pardoe

If Pogba makes the squad, it doesn't mean he will make the matchday 18. The only way we would know for sure if he was added to the squad would be if he is on the coach.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

If Fergie goes to the effort of watching a game in another country the night before a United game he's gonna have a very good reason.

I'm now certain that United have a strong interest in Hazard. Whether they'll be able to sign him or not depends on whether Barca, Real and City are interested too.

Am I right in thinking that Lille have kind of accepted that he's leaving this summer?

Si

Agree0 Disagree0

If united are interested in Hazard I don't know where that leaves one of young nani or Valencia. Valencia has been one of our best players young is new and will be given more time. So would hazard signal the end of nani?

Red Man

Agree0 Disagree0

Nani is gettin a contract renewal, hazard wud play in the middle

Agree0 Disagree0

'Red Man'

Signing Hazard would mean the end of Berbatov, Owen and potentially Macheda as he would play behind Rooney most of the time - we therefore need fewer strikers.

Hazard's signing makes perfect sense for us, we would have Hernandez, Rooney and Welbeck for the main striking spots with Lingard, King and Keane pushing for places on the bench at this point. Hazard would play behind a striker, it'd also mean we can rest Rooney a couple of more times because Hazard is equally creative.

In terms of the wings, Nani is getting a new deal, he and Valencia will still be first choice, Young will be rotated and Hazard may occasionally play there if he is not in the hole or he will be benched.

Hazard is the ideal signing.

RedDevil19

Agree0 Disagree0

RedDevil19

I dont see Nani as first choice and if we are looking at Hazard I would guess he would be a replacement for Nani.

I only base that on the opinion that SAF has got a bit fed up with Nani squandering possession all too often.

Speaking to those around me today the general opinion of Nani is that he has had a disappointing season and is at risk of leaving.

Red Man

Agree0 Disagree0

Nani is very good and indispensable player for united.. that's why he's getting a new contract (i hope). If Hazard joins and is a winger, then Nani willl fight for the spot, he wont just be pushed over, same with Valencia.. Young's position is more under scrutiny then Nani's.. but as RedDevil19 said, i think Hazard was bought, he'd play as a secind striker.
Mabzinho

Agree0 Disagree0

I really do not see Nani as indespensable for United. Why would Youngs position be under more scrutiny? He is the latest signing and surely SAF would give him more time. Nani has been given years yet is still frustrating more than any other player.

If Nani has 2 years on his contract why would we give him a big new contract to fight for his spot, essentially to be a reserve? Doesnt make logical sense but then lots of illogical things happen

Red Man

Agree0 Disagree0

What i will apologise for is that it was IMO lol that Nani is an indispensable player for United. also imo and probably many others to is that he was one of our best players last season. he isn't doing to bad this season but i agree he hasn't performed as well as we know he can. Ashley Young IMO is not a game changer like Nani, tha'ts why i think his position would be under more threat than Nani's ..

Agree0 Disagree0

Nani has scored 6 and has 8 assists in the EPL = 14
Valencia scored 2 and has 10 assists in EPL = 12
Young has scored 4 and has 5 assists in EPL = 9
Nani, who I admit can be unpredictable, is 2nd only to Wayne when it comes to attacking prowess in our squad. Valencia is buzzing since returning to fitness, shame he got injured again. Young has really only had 3 or 4 good games for us and is behind Nani and Valencia. I wouldn't but Hazard for the 40m euros he will cost. I'd spend on central midfielders, something like Tiote and Eriksson for 40m-50m for the two. I'd sell Anderson, Macheda, Park and Hernandez for 8m, 6m, 4m and 20m =38m and try to buy Sturrage for 30m. net cost 32m -42m.

Berbatov has signed a new contract so that we can get a decent fee for him in the summer. There is interest there and it is expected that he will leave for around £8,000,000. That will leave us with 3 main choices in Rooney, Welbeck and Chicharito. Macheda will be given 6 months to prove himself also and will Keane will get a first or second flight loan.

We will not go in for a young striker as Keane and Lingard especially are showing promise. Instead we will sign Drogba on a free on a one year deal to give us that bit of cover and a different option up front. It will be a deal similar to that of signing Owen, Drogba will bring a lot to the club and i'd be very glad to welcome him to Old Trafford.

Believable5 Unbelievable24

Maceeda will never make it at utd
johndenton

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't see that happening pal...

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would Drogba sign a one year contract for us and not for Chelsea ? Only way of it happening is by offering him a two year contract !

Strider98!

Agree0 Disagree0

All sounded fairly believable until you spoke about a transfer for Drogba!

Ozwald

Agree0 Disagree0

LOL....Mecheda! Do me a favour he is pathetic. Can't even make the QPR first team.
Sell him along with Owen, Berbatov, Anderson, Park and get some decent players in the will move us upto the next level in Europe. To many average players knocking about at United now.

Simmo

Agree0 Disagree0

Macheda isn't even EPL class, let alone United level. Sell him, we should get 3-5 million on him. I think he'd do well at Leicester or some such team. I'd keep and play Berbatov a bit more, to me he's a far better player than Chicareto. the Mexican is good in the box, but a liability anywhere else on the pitch. he's useful as an impact sub. Though if someone come up with 20m I'd sell him too.
