News coming out of Germany tonight that man united have put in a €35 million euro bid for gundogan.

If that's true and we "weren't interested" in Thiago at near 20mil less then I would have to question the sense of the United Hierarchy.

Sadly I can't see that I would prefer him more than anyone other than Ronnie, anyhow no name what reports

It'll be difficult to get him, but, nonetheless, a very promising player, just like Thiago.
Geting either of them would make me. relieved!

I don't think so. If this is true then Barcelona have agreed to loan us messi as neymar does not like messi's haircut and we are also signing robben and ribbery. Total cods wallop!

He is a great player imo he was standout for Dortmund last season (whom I watched quite a lot) although with lewy most likely going to BM (though peps comments about Alcantara or no one) i'm not sure this would happen.

Exactly what utd should be doing. using their financial muscle to make offers clubs and players can't refuse.

it doesn't need to be stupid amounts of cash eg £300k a week and £60 mill for gungoden, but there are amounts well below this which could ensure we get the players we need.

I really hope this rumour is true, more for the sign of intent than anything.

If we are going to invest heavily on one attacking midfielder, then we should splash out 36 million on Draxler. It seems likely that we will sell Evra -6m, Nani - 12m, Rooney 30m Anderson 8m =56m plus a supposed Kitty of 60m = 116, so Draxler 36m - Fellaini 24m - Baines 16m = 76m would leave plenty for a striker. If Vidic goes we should get 10m for him so we bring in Garry for 17m and still have enough for a striker.
