I know rumours are circulating we have had our bid for Shaw rejected but surely if it was our first bid then we will be willing to at least break out another few million, I know its a bunch of cash for a left back but he is outstanding very young which means years of service and in the system I think LvG will play the full backs are very important. Come on Woodward get our man!

Which team ever accepts a first bid? Can't believe so many people are surprised it has been rejected. He'll come but I think it will be £30m plus a few add ons.

He is a good player costa not sure a great one but he will be a great fit at chelsea imo

You could be right, what is his speed like? He's good with his head, good strength in and around the box, but what is he like for speed?
Extremely good player and is the type of forward I would want if I managed in the premier league, he has pace, power, technique, skill, finishing. He will be a great buy for Chelsea if they manage t get his signature.
For his size he is very quick as he is quite a bulky guy naturally. If the reported price £32m is right then if I was a Chelsea fan I would be very happy as I would pay up to £40m for him I think he's that good.

Yeah just seen his latest Instagram post, he's very suited to the PL tbh. Big, fast, strong, got finesse and skill. Chelsea are going to be much improved with him leading the line.
George, Costa is a great player but why should Chelsea fans care about the price? If I had £40m spare I'd buy a bigger house.

25 years old so he's going to be hitting his prime in the coming years but not near the standards of some of the strikers Athletico have brought on by any means. Different specimen to Torres and Agüero but not as much of a natural goalscorer as Falcao or as good technically as Falcao but I feel he'll do well at Chelsea as he's much more of a target man for them which will allow Hazard, Oscar and Willian to break beyond him
A real handful and very strong. Will score loads for them and give every defender in the league all he can eat. Will eat our lot quite easy. Great buy for them.

Press are reporting that Arsenal believe they can snare Alexis Sanchez for £20 million. If that is the case then we have to go toe to toe with them - a smashing player and if he is allowed to leave Barcelona then we have to be at the front of the queue. I'd go for him Reus or no Reus.

Decent player, but we can't just go for everyone. Fresh, I'm sure your playing FIFA with your transfer targets this season, uve already named about 5-6 world class players and now you want AS aswell, I think u may end up dissapointed this window! I don't think transfers are going to be as nailed on and easy as you all think unfortunatly
How am I going for everyone?! I have repeatedly said that I think we will go for Shaw, Kroos, Reus, Strootman and maybe Hummels. We could use two wingers if we are honest as we only have Januzaj - everyone else is poor.

Ed02, what's the situation with Fabregas at the moment? A lot of talk about him potentially moving this summer with him getting plenty of stick from the fans. What clubs are interested (if any) and can you see him leaving Barca?

I hope we don't buy any more No.10s or players playing just behind the striker(s). We should look for proper CMs. Fabregas, if played as a proper CM, can do a great job for us, I think.
And Zappa, Shaw is a Chelsea fan. We are very close to buying him. Would you not want him too?

No they will have seen him play now.
I think Buttner will remain at the club if Evra is going unless he wants more starting time. I don't think he would be a bad back up. The alternative would be having to buy another LB, can't see that
