Javier Pastore. We were linked with him last summer, in my opinion he still is a world class player. Forget Hazard, whatever we offer him in wages city will double it. So i say we go for players that we have been linked with before. Pastore, Sneijder or even Kaka? Any Thoughts Ed?

Believable8 Unbelievable15

You mean Pastore who signed for PSG? {Ed002's Note - Sneijder remains an option if wages can be resolved.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I have seen little of Pastore at PSG. Read he started of well and has been awful 2nd half of the season. Kaka, no way, he is pst prime, Sneijder no. Pastore though I would love at this club, rough around the edges but an extremely talented player has the potential to be one of the best in the world. The problem is PSG paid a lot of money for him and probably threw ridiculous wages at him, so he is hardly going to be cheap transfer or wages wise would probably cost similar amounts to Hazard.
Invisible STuey

Agree0 Disagree0

IMO we should have been in for Pastore last summer. He is sheer quality and I cant help but think that it was just that kind of player we missed in the run up to and over the christmas period before Scholes returned.

TK-Red

Agree0 Disagree0

Rumour was that Sneijder wanted a private plane to fly him home after every match. Quite rightly this was a deal breaker and would be again.
However, a season has passed and he might be more amenable to a move now, probably his last chance with United. He'd certainly add quality to our central midfield.

Agree0 Disagree0

He'd certainly keep the physios busy, he's played like a dozen league games this season. He's 28, looks 48 and has only been class when he plays in internationals. Why do you think not one of the other big European teams are not knocking on his door. Christ ever sh***y haven't offered money for him!!

agent of Lewandoski has come out and said we're interested?! THE PLOT THICKENS? double swoop or Kagawa is not a target?

Sanshine {Ed004's Note - He was class the other night}

Believable15 Unbelievable6

I would not mind that one little bit.

RedDevil19

Agree0 Disagree0

Where is the link btw?

RedDevil19

Agree0 Disagree0

Borussia told that no one who has contract until 2014 is not for sale, so that only leaves us to Shinji, who whoould be a perfect midfield maestro...

Agree0 Disagree0

There is a bit in the daily mirror about kagawa ripping into lewandowski for being a selfish player and he doesnt like playing up front with him

i think it will be 1 or the other not both

jple23

Agree0 Disagree0

Gotze as well ? {Ed004's Note - I can't see Gotze leaving but he is imo 100% better than Kagawa}

Agree0 Disagree0

He was good, I'm just fueilling the transfer mill tbh. It seems to me as he was playing on the fact Fergie was there to get him a better contract. I wouldn't mind him though!

'jple23'

yeah i think you're right, i do remember hearing that before so that makes sense.

RedDevil19

cant find the quote I had, but basically saying he'd leave for us. Tbh after the Hazard fiasco I don't believe many 'quotes' these days

Sanshine

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree Ed Kagawa is ok But Gotze is on a different level. But you're talking far more money than Man Utd could afford to prise him away from BD.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha ed004 did you honestly just say Goetze is 100% better than Kagawa? Hmm not sure about that one..

Whether United are interested in Lewandolski or not i doubt he's moving anywhere this summer, Dortmund say he's not going anywhere he's be prolific for them this season! Kagawa is likely to move, hopefully to us!

Ozwald {Ed004's Note - IMO Gotze is better than Kagawa and will be far better in the future}

Agree0 Disagree0

He was a youth player at United so he probably once did like the look of him. Caused us problems when we played Norwich but don't think he's anywhere near our current crop of wingers.

Just saying, the plot thickens with the van Persie story. Talks with him will be held next week and the headline quotes him as saying 'whatever happens i will always love Arsenal'. This rumour is just gathering more and more pace, i'm optimistic that we will either see Hazard or van Persie as our marquee signing this year. Where is Darren the red when you need him, got any more information? Your post could be true.

RedDevil19

Believable7 Unbelievable25

Defo think we should sign kagawa, he looked good again in german cup final. Also hope RVP rumours are true he is best striker in prem. Think we should forget about hazard! Leighton baines would be a good signing as evra Is crap in defence. Any chance of signing higuain? Out of favour at madrid!

Agree0 Disagree0

He wont join mate, city will offer a lot more money for him than us.

JK92

Agree0 Disagree0

Won't join city you are deluded if you think every player will sign for them
believe me they have enough unrest upfront as it is
ARB

Agree0 Disagree0

ARB, if city offer arsenal enough money for him and also offer RVP a lot of money do you see him turning it down?

the only way he will join united is if he wants first team assurances which we can offer him.

JK92

Agree0 Disagree0

First matey - We probably will sign Kagawa it's inevitable. Also Evra has been bad at times this season however in todays game and last week against Swansea he has been fantastic at chasing players back putting in a clean tackle etc. He just doesn't always do it which can change, i feel he still has the ability he's just sometimes unwilling.

Kinda agree with 'ARB' with not everyone will sign for city just becuse they get paid a lot more. There are still a lot of footballers of top class that will prefer MUFC for it's history and it's manager and the way it operates. City will soon have too many players expecting to start every game and it wont end nicely for them just you wait and see, now they've won a title.

I think Van Persie will stay at Arsenal, if he doesn't it'll be a move to Barca that sways him i doubt he'll go to another PL team.

Ozwald

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi red devil 19

Not spoken to me mate in the last couple of days so nothing new to report bit reading some of the people talking about city with regards to RVP as my mate said the talks with city never went well at all and that at the min (when i spoke to him about this) they were a defo no go and that staying at arsenal and us were the only two options they were looking at at present.

Quote from Hazard-' i will be playing in england next season for a team in blue' so unless we change the red spiderman costume for a blue one, he wont be at old trafford

Ins:
Kagawa
Clyne
Powell (if Pogba goes)
Benatia
and a Striker.

Sanshine

Believable5 Unbelievable22

This is man utd not some mid table hopeful

Agree0 Disagree0

'no namer'

you're a d*ck. Those players aren't mid table team players. Also if the striker was some transfer wet dream like Higuain or Cavani, you'd say different.

This is what I think will happen in the summer, not particularly what I want. Maybe another winger, but that depends on who we sell.

Sanshine

Agree0 Disagree0

No you're right there, 2 of them aren't even premiership players let alone mid table players, get back to your play station

Agree0 Disagree0

Go to the doctors and get that stick up your arse removed. Kagawa is a quailty player, as is Benatia coming from the German Champions who beat Bayern comfortably with himself playing VERY well. Benatia is from 3rd in the italian league and large part to why they got where they did.

You haven't got the foggiest.

Sanshine

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't understand why your post is getting such opposition Sanshine. Couple of decent signings & a couple of good prospects there.

Red Spark

People just want to hear we're signing martinez, eriksen, and hazard. Which unfortunately isn't going to happen. I would bet a large amount of money that those would be our signings and Fergie will bring the youth through.

hi, was speaking to my cousin who's currently working away in portugal, and he has told me the paper's and local gossip is that anderson may be moving to porto for as little as 8mil, not sure if that is in euro's or pound's,
ed, or in deed anyone, do you know if this may be true or just paper talk?

Agree0 Disagree0

13 May 2012 14:37:53
Hey Eds, I was thinking about this and think it would be a good idea, but I don't know if ye will agree so tell me what you think.

I think that James McClean would be a great signing for the left wing. He is left footed, strong, deceptively agile and a hard worker, sort of like Valencia. He is a very direct winger too and would add to Sir Alex's choices for the wing. His form this season has been unbelievable, considering its his first season in the Prem after just leaving the Irish League.

If we bought him and then James Rodriguez, another left footed winger we would be sorted on the wings. Rodriguez is a skillful winger similar to Nani, so we could choose from two hard working, direct wingers (Valencia and McClean) and two skillful wingers (Nani and Rodriguez) on both wings. We would also have Ashley Young as back up.

Rodriguez and McClean could be bought for, maybe, £30 million (£20 million for Rodriguez?, £10 million for McClean?)

What do you think, good idea or not?

Believable5 Unbelievable34

The last thing United need to do is sign wingers, its the lack of creativity in the centre thats the issue.

Agree0 Disagree0

We need to improve on other positions more then the wings i.e. CM, we certainly dont need 2 new wingers unless one leaves!

Gav

Agree0 Disagree0

So young is 5th choice winger?!

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont see Young as 'back up'. IMO he has been one of our better performers this eason and deserves a place in the starting 11.

SAF has to go out and buy big this summer... Glazers need to pump the money back into United and back the team to bring them back to the top of European football.

We need a CDM - Javi Martinez £25M who can also cover at CB as we've has injuries to Rio and Vidic and he can cover until Jones falls into the player he promises to be. Top quality player who will only get better.. We've missed a CDM the past few seasons, especially when we've played Barca in the European Finals..

RB - Nathan Clyne is out of contract soon and can be purchsed for £3M. I'm not convinced with the Da Silva twins and I would prefer to see Smalling at CB.

LB - Evra hasn't had the best season and the game where against City didn't help his cause where Nasri ran riot but I don't think he's past it yet still been one of our best players last few seasons.. Would like to see Jordi Alba from Valencia. 21 years old and has played in europe. Baines is a good player but really good enough?? I think not...

CAM - Gaitan looks the mostly likely as has a price of £25M and we could loan or swap players to Benfica.. Good player but would of liked to seen a cheeky bid for Ozil, Hazard or Gotze. Fergie has watched Kinwaga who seems good but I hope it's not just because he's a cheaper option at £10M.

ST - Berba, Owen, Mancheda can free up some space... We need another striker who can grab us some goals as Welbeck is not a 20goal a season striker and Hernandes hasn't had a great season... I would look at Huntelaar for £12M or the young Luuk De Jong of Twente very gifted striker and very similar to RVP.. Future of Dutch football and can be snapped up at £15M. Learndo Damiao - The Brazilian is another new face coming out of the Brazilian league with a big future and is a goalscorer.

Check out videos of the players and see what you think...

Come on Fergie make sure you don't prove Rooney to question our great clubs future to be correct...

Believable7 Unbelievable8

I agree with all of ur ideas maybe we could also get lucas from sao paoulo

Agree0 Disagree0

Jordi Alba is more likely to go to Barca, Martinez will cost more than £25m but I think he's worth the money anyway, Kagawa is a class act and I'd rather have him than Gaitan, although I do think Gaitan is underestimated by alot of people. Out of Huntelaar, Damiao and De Jong I would take Damiao, it would add abit more of a physical presence to our attack

A.R

I've seen some spellings of Kagawa, but that one is crazy

Ed do you know of any interest in Hummels? We all expect that SAF and Phelan were there for Kagawa, but was he also having a look at Hummels. We possibly will need a defender if Vidic misses pre season, Smalling and Evans need surgery and Ferdinand may have the odd problem. That would leave us with just Jones..

RedDevil19 {Ed002's Note - I think Benatia more likely.}

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Benatia would also be good, he is a little quicker too and managed to keep van Persie quiet when Udinese played Arsenal. He would be a good addition, what fee? £6 million?

RedDevil19

Agree0 Disagree0

It`s all right saying hummels
but he also might have been looking at lewandowski as well as the one`s talked about

Agree0 Disagree0

13 May 2012 12:56:12
Ed do you think its likely that the Hazard deal will pass us by, so that way we will leave the left wing position for another year so James Rodriguez becomes our main target next year?

RedDevil19 {Ed002's Note - Probably, but it is not related to Rodriguez. Bayern Munich have been looking carefully at Rodrigues as an alternative to Dries Mertens. The other club is Palermo. I would not be surprised if Manchester United had been having the player watched but they may be reluctant to pay the sort of fee Porto would be looking for.}

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Hazard is a gr8 player but i think hes going to city. I think we should look into rodriguez hes got that spark thats missing from our midfield

Agree0 Disagree0

Bayern have signed shaqiri from basel on a 4 year deal

Agree0 Disagree0

13 May 2012 12:52:36
So with vidic missing pre-season and struggling for the start of the season, and with evans and smalling (possibly) both needing surgery

Ed do you think he will look to buy a talented CB as cover... The montpellier captain who can play in midfield aswell has stated his desire to play for us.

fearny {Ed002's Note - Like Benatia you mean?}

Believable5 Unbelievable1

I think its possible, i'd say that there are three options:

-Mehdi Benatia
-Inigo Martinez
-Mibwia

I think Benatia wouldn't be a bad idea, he is another one that can play at right back if need be.

RedDevil19

Agree0 Disagree0

That would be a waste of money, we also have Jones and Rio.
if brought someone in, who would you play when ALL of these cbs are fit??

melwing28

Agree0 Disagree0

You can't even promise Ferdinand to be there.. fergie may look to ship him on if he doesnt accept this 50k wage cut that is being touted

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't see another cb coming in, if we are to get a dcm as reported as an att midfielder then if is likely they would used as emergency cover, failing that carrick can also do the job as he has done many times over the last few years.
the ideal candidate would of course be javi martinez but unfortunately alot would depend on who city replace de jong with

dags

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice suggestion Ed002, do you know of confirmed interest in Benatia from United then?

Thanks

Gav {Ed002's Note - Yes. This is an ongoing matter with Mehdi Benatia who has turned down an approach from PSG but still interests Milan and Manchester United. He has expressed a desire to play for MUFC.}

Agree0 Disagree0

13 May 2012 12:23:44
Apparently MUFC are close to completing a deal for kagawa. Wont be announced until the end of the season at least. SAF is looking for another midfielder ( gaitan ?? ) and a defender. ( Clyne or baines )

Believable14 Unbelievable2

I think we will confirm the signing's of kagawa, gaitan and clyne within the first couple of weeks of the window opening and then maybe another 1 or 2 towards the back end depending on who is available, most probably youngsters as can't see any major signings till other transfers have gone through (ie city's replacing de jong, whether berba, owen and macheda all move on etc)

dags

Agree0 Disagree0

13 May 2012 12:04:00
I think given light of the managers comments we can cast off the likes of Sven Bender and all other holding midfielders off of the list. I think as well as Kagawa we are looking for a box2box player, maybe Rasmus Elm will pop up again as he does fit that mold. There was talks in January that the deal was almost in place, do you have any information of Elm ed? Joe Allen's stats are pretty impressive also so we may look at him.

RedDevil19 {Ed002's Note - Juventus, Spurs, Manchester United, Lazio, Roma and Liverpool have shown interest in Rasmus Elm but there has been no bid, no discussions about price and certainly no agreement over a move - regardless of what people have said on Twitter.}

Any chances of united signing both kagawa and Munain ?

Believable18 Unbelievable7

I can see this happening they both bring something different. Muniain is young and has potential and kagawa could be a gr8 replacement for Park!

Agree0 Disagree0

Why say Kagawa is a replacement for Park? Because he's asian? f**king hell some people these days.. Park was good to an extent but his work rate was the one thing thats kept him at United for so long. Kagawa is truely a technically gifted player, he is a master of fast attacking football clever vision and clever passes with a relatively good finishing ability. Very agile and a good dribbler! Swear most people on this website don't know anything..

Ozwald

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be two exciting signings if we did.

But, Kagawa...a replacement for Park?
Why do people keep saying this?
We don't have a position in the squad called "Asian player".
They have totally different playing positions and attributes.
Absolutely NOT a replacement for Park.

Bob

Agree0 Disagree0

How is kagawa a replacement for park !?!? from what ive seen park and kagawa are nothing alike in terms of football players. are we not allowed two asian players in the same squad at one time or something ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Park has a similar style to Kagawa thats what I meant he always gives 100 percent. He is just an updated version of Park and will fit into our first 11 nicely

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said Ozwald, my thinking is exactly the same totaly different style players but because of the asia link hes apparently a direct replacement if you know anything and have seen these two players they are different to what they bring on the oitch, Kagawa in opinion is a player we should be looking at but if you look on mufc website today fergi is indicating that we dont need to buy any midfielders or holding mid looks like another summer of ifs and buts but no signing that the fans want, i hate to say it but its obvious what will happen, youth not experience and high wages/fees, ky87

Agree0 Disagree0

What like u ozwald, you think kagawa is a central midfielder, when he plays behind the striker, grow up kiddo.

Agree0 Disagree0

Kagwawa would be a great replacement for park

Agree0 Disagree0

13 May 2012 10:18:54
Why does everyone seem to think we still need young players we dont! We need players that are already at the top of there game e.g. schwienstigier (spelling) huntelaar ribery these are players we need that are already proven world class not players with appart potential we got that with jones, da silvas, smalling, welbeck they way you lot are going on the average age of the team would be 21. so i believe ferguson need to buy players e.g sniejder that are already world class

Believable22 Unbelievable10

Several very expensive potential flops there.
Just because a player has a big name and an even bigger price tag it doesn't mean that they will be a guarenteed success.
The history of The Prem. is littered with examples.
Some of the best players we've seen have come fairly cheaply.

Bob

Agree0 Disagree0

But we can get young players who are better than our current youngsters and old guys, and have as much if not more potential than the older players you mentioned. (im only playing devils advocate, i think schweinsteiger is one of the players who could properly sort us out, but i dont think he would leave)

Jaxer

Agree0 Disagree0

You lost me at Huntelaar.

Mad Hatter

Agree0 Disagree0

Trouble with splashing the big cash, on proven 27 -29 year olds is that they only have one way to go -down. So we buy a 28 year old for 35 million, tag on 5 years salary at 7 million a year and the total investment is 70 million. the player will be over 30 for at least 2 seasons and players over 30 get injured more easily and take longer to heal.Buy a 21 year old like M'vila for 17 million, pay him 5 million a year, total investment - 42 million. You then have a 26 year old who you can sell for a profit, or keep as the case may be. I think we should be buying players in the 20 - 25 year range, how about Kagawa 23 and 5-10 million, M'villa 21 - 17 million and Cissoko 24 - 15 million. All young, but with good experience costing 37 - 42 million in total. With a few sales the Glazers would only have to cough up 25 million or so. Then maybe get the Crewe youngster and Clyne for a few million and we will have a stronger first eleven and a stronger squad. M'villa, Cissoko and Kagawa are all proven, within price range and all have 10 years+ of their careers left. Sounds a better deal than spending 55 million on Lorente and Sneijder.Plus it fits our profile of looking over the longer term, rather then on just next season.
Mik

13 May 2012 09:26:16
Fergie at the german cup final so lets hope the kagawa signing happens,
we need 2 central midfielders either sahin from madrid who used to be at dortmund so would fit well with kagawa,a fantastic player who we could possibly get as hes struggled there in first season injuries ect, i reckon 15-20 and he'd be worth it,or javi martinez, but i can't see united paying 30 mil + for him, sahin and kagawa would be realistic,2 outstanding midfielders for possiby 25-35 mil.
I'd love a striker like llorent from bibao and i think hes only got a year on his contract so maybe they'd sell but i can't see us going for him.
2 fullbacks a vander wiel or the french lille right back whos name ive forgotten, and a left back,i rate cissokho of lyon.
Most important fergie has to get the 2 midfielders were lacking and sort this area out.

Believable12 Unbelievable2

So everyone gets excited by SAF going to Germany, possibly to watch Kagawa. At the same time Rio Ferdinand is being asked to take a pay cut of £50k a week on his existing contract and reports say we are after Dembele from Fulham. SAF is also hoping Scholes signs for another year despite it being obvious that his legs have gone.

Meanwhile it looks likely that Hazard is going to City and who next.

Whilst many deride Rooney as only being after the money what he said still has a ring to it and needs to be proven wrong this summer. Rooney said David Gill did not give me any of the assurances I was seeking about the future squad

Let us see the Glazers ambition this summer or I would be fearful of seeing that statement repeated by Rooney before he signed for City

Red Man

Believable12 Unbelievable4

If we sign a load of hopefuls again this summer it'll be the end for few seasons, city will buy world class player again this summer so we need a few in our team.

Rio should take a pay cut hes only going to get 1 year deals plus hes injured a lot
I don't believe for a minute we want Dembele
And 50m a year is still a lot of money

Pardoe

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd be annoyed if Rio signed a new deal and DIDNT take a pay cut! Hopefully Giggs/Scholes/Rio will all be on reduced deals IF they stay....as they shouldnt be playing every week and will become less influential on our starting XI

I hope we dont sign Dembele but will be delighted if we get Kagawa at anything like the quoted prices!

Gav

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow, aren't we (United) blessed with so many non believing fans.
Anyone would think City have ran away with the title this year, never mind us still playing for a chance in the final game of the season.
Way too much doom and gloom on here.
Throwing the towel in for seasons to come.
Let's grow some balls eh.
We're Man United...We'll do what we want!

JK92

Agree0 Disagree0

I think some are more recent supporters who have got used to us refreshing the team and winning again, they don't have the vision to see the challenge from City or what our owners have done. If you chose to ignore that's fine but I spent the first 25 years of following united without seeing us be champions and don't want an extended period again because we will not spend on the real quality needed

As to ARB grow up comments, I grew up when City were the better team and we were poor and we are facing it again unless we buck up our ideas in the transfer market

Red Man

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with redman if we dont sign some big names to complement our potential younger players we could be in limbo for a few seasons.some of you who comment probably havent been a utd fan when we were crap or got relegated and were very average.ive woke up this morning and looked outside and my next door neighbour (city season ticket holder,as is the one the other side) has put up a 20ft flagpole with a big city flag on it ,i dont want to be seeing that happen on a regular basis.i also employ bluenoses in my sales team and can imagine the greif i will get tommorow when i go into work.if you dont live in manchester the effect of today will be a bit easier i hope.make no mistake city wont sit back if they win they will strengthen again and again until they dominate the premier league and that is something i and am sure you dont want to see.

Redman - I followed united around what was then second division grounds, when we went down in the 70's. S**t happens.
Chelsea came with mega-bucks and won a couple of leagues -S**t happens.
City can outspend us, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs Real and Barcelona put together -S**t happens.
We saw off Chelsea so why not City too?.I get the feeling you want us to get "marquee"players you can boast about rather than a team to feel proud of. Cantona, Ronaldo, Bruce, Irwin, Schmichael, Valencia, Beckham, Giggs, Scholes etc, etc, none were big name players when they came to United. Remember Hansen say "ya win nothing with kids" Thats when S**t happened to Hansen. Keep the faith man, or moves across city, or take up American (where's my steroids) Football
Mik

Agree0 Disagree0

Mik
the difference when chelsea came and spent and we got back on equal terms was that we also spent and had a quality squad unfortunateley that isnt the case now
johndenton

Agree0 Disagree0

Mik

Let me be clear I want top players so that we challenge the very large menace that is city. Then we have only 3 European cups and despite dominating at home SAF has only managed 2 in 20 years.

Everyone is looking for talented kids and we cant always get to them first like we did with ronaldo , right now we need 3 top quality players who can make a difference next season not in three years which would allow City to get established.

Red Man

Agree0 Disagree0

Why should a player at 28 be a better buy than a player of 21. United have nearly always bought players of 26 and under.Usually it takes a season or two to adapt. With the amount of cash we'll likely have 25-30 million plus sales, I think something like Kagawa, M'vila and Cissoko sounds better than say Llorente and bits.
What a heart breaker today was!!

Bob shatapp! He'd struggle in the PL because he's slow? Scholesy is hardly a whizz kid is he? Schweinsteiger is a top draw player proved his talent over and over at international level as well. But being at Munich for so long he's the fans favourite. Almost like Giggs to us, just wouldn't move anywhere else. So i doubt SAF was there to watch him. Definitely would have been there to watch Kagawa.

Ozwald

Agree0 Disagree0

I can only assume that he's planning a quadreble swoop for Kagawa, Schweinsteiger, Hummels and Robben ; )

Gav

I'm not sure Ozwald.
I see "Veron mkII" when people talk about Schweinsteiger coming to us.
I've seen him evaporate in games a few times, he was hardly impressive last night. I Think he lacks fight.
But that's just my opinion.
Would rather we bought someone a little more dynamic.
But as you say, unlikely to leave Bayern anyway. Thankfully :)

This weekend is a busy 1 from united scouts as Fergie tries to wrap everything up before the Euro's.

Fergie and Phelan were in Germany last night to watch Kagawa who had a great game

Martin Ferguson is in Spain to watch Tito a right back for Rayo Vallecano

Heard nothing about us watching Javi Martinez?

Believable14 Unbelievable0

How do we know he was there to watch Kagawa?
Are we assuming?

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy that catches the eye at Rayo is the LEFT Back. Can't give you his name I'm afraid but loads of potential.

Think Martinez will stay in Spain. He's someone worth breaking the bank for, but unfortunately our chances of getting him are almost zero.
Mik

Guilherme Siqueira

Hey ed what are the chances of gotze moving on this summer? And if he does, where do you think he will probably end up?

K10 {Ed002's Note - Goetze may be available in the summer at the right price. Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona were previously knocked back by his club although Goetze has identified his favourite teams as Barcelona and Arsenal. There is also interest also from Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea and AC Milan - who I suspected were shifting their interest in Ganso or Fernando to Goetze. Chelsea know that there will be pressure from elsewhere to buy the player - most notably AC Milan and the major Spanish sides - and are of the opinion that a move to England will probably not come about although I suspect Manchester United will look to the player again. There remains a very good chance he will stay for another season in Germany.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Actually his name is gotze {Ed002's Note - Goetze unless you include the umlaut. Hopeless really.}

Eds are you aware of any genuine contact between lille and any other club in regards to purchasing Hazard? Not just interest, I know that every big club has looked at him and would have some interest in signing him. Thanks
Jam {Ed002's Note - Yes I am. This whole matter has been discussed at length repeatedly for the past year.}

hey eds how highly do you rate james morrison. been looking around for the european top mids and he seems to have a better stats than most. seems an effective player.

also what are your thoughts on raul garcia. 25yo central mid

rddu {Ed002's Note - I am not interested in "rating" players and I doubt Garcia would be interested in leaving Spain.}

Ed002 in one of his moods again we see {Ed002's Note - Try not to be such a glifnard and find another site to troll.}

Surely if SAF and Phelan were smart enough to speak to Kagawa after the game then he would be ours? He has said before Man Utd is his dream choice I think. C'mon guys get it done!

Believable9 Unbelievable2

I recall SAF allegedly speaking to Oezil but that didn't make a difference

Red Man

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are you so negative about everything man? It didn't make a difference with Ozil because we were not his first choice where it appears Kagawa might want to come to us, that was my point.

Very poor professionalism From him, talks way too much

Tbh I think he's said that so the teams that are in for him battle it out as to who can offer the most money, let's face it foreign players are greedy and just go where the money is that's a FACT.

Hi guys, ive got some interesting news regarding kagawa.
Apparently 2 united representatives went out to Germany to try and agree a fee with Dortmund. Hopefull signs but we will still have to wait for the 1st of June for it can be officially completed.

Also transfers to look out for are:
Gaitan
Hummels
Bains
Martinez
Barkely

Believable8 Unbelievable2

Ye it was fergie himself and mike phelan

Agree0 Disagree0

Forget about Hummels or Javi Martinez.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would prefer Subotic to Hummels. More calm & composed. Hummels would be like Vidic, a no nonsense defender. Subotic would me more of Ferdinand. Bt I reckon we'll only get a CB if Ferdinand doesn't accept the wage cut & expresses a desire to leave.
