Fingers crossed

If true then this day gets better than ever. And I thought the Mancini sacking was the icing on the cake.

Agree0 Disagree0

Do they need a driver? I'm free any day this week to take him there.

Dan

Agree2 Disagree0

Rooney and Balotelli in the same team? Good luck if so! Probably would get in a fight every other match.

Ozwald

Agree0 Disagree1

Take the cash

Agree0 Disagree1

Boys come on now! Seriously let's not run down a player who has given us a lot. At the end of the day he may well stay!

Agree2 Disagree0

If he stays then there is nothing we can do but I personally have no time for him anymore and hope he goes.

Brendan81

Agree1 Disagree1

Does he prefer to stay in England?

RebelRed

CANNOT BELIEVE THE SHEEP MENTALITY!
Seriously is everyone lost the plot, please don't come back to me with ' ooh but rooney asked for a transfer request wah wah wah'
Seriously he is still one of the most naturally gifted footballers that can pull magic out at anytime and win you games.
He is a Talisman and proved time and time again his worth.
The grass is always greener, who will be his realistic replacement?
We are talking about a player who WILL go on to be Englands greatest ever goal scorer.
Ronaldo requested a transfer (remember that) then he stayed one more year and we sold him, he wanted to move on and try somewhere else.
This is a JOB for players, he has been a great servant to us and helped us achieve great success.
If he wants to move and we get good money for him then great but please don't boo the man and get all cocky like 'do they need a driver' pathetic lads.
You were all screaming that mans name when a scored a hatrick on his european debut, I bet you were all screaming when he scored an unbelievable overhead kick against City to win the game? or that volley against Newcastle.
Seriously a lot of these fans sound like spoilt chelsea and city fans.
Memory's a strange thing. Get a Grip FFS.

Agree5 Disagree1

He has been good for us, give him that, BUT, he's also been a conplete banker at times, with that, he has to go while we can still get good money for him? sorry wazza, its true!

Agree0 Disagree0

Only thing he's proved time and again over the last two seasons is how average he is.

Agree0 Disagree1

Rooneys been great for us but can't understand his mentality. Ok he's been below par this season and maybe it is because he been played out of position but he's been dreadful at times, also dropped for rm game and taken off early a lot but to want a transfer? Would've thought it be better he gets fit and makes himself un droppable. Show abit of effort instead of misplaced passes, penalty misses and moping around looking nackered. If he wants to go then let him go

Agree2 Disagree0

He has done a lot over the years, and yes on his day (or if he got fit) he'd be great, buts he's not, and he gets payed £250 000 a week - the way he's playing that could be better spent.

If you ask for more, expect to have to do more

Bit of transfer gossip. Cesc Fabregas is going to leave Barcelona this summer and move to Manchester United.

Believable100 Unbelievable96

Not going to happen

Agree1 Disagree0

If Moyes did pull this off, at least it would silence all the pessimists saying we'll be playing long ball football next season. Would be some story if Moyes signed the player, that when sold caused Arsenal to sign Everton's best player.

Nat

Agree1 Disagree0

You sound very confident! Maybe there could be an enquiry
Bren,

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't see it because arsenal have a 1st option buy back calause in his contract

Agree0 Disagree0

It doesn't matter if Arsenal have a buy back clause if the player wants to play some where else.

Carl

Agree0 Disagree0

Esteban Granero to man united for 6 million

Agree0 Disagree4

Carl, it would be lot of money as Arsenal will get 50% of the transfer fee! However I would love it to happen. He has already played in the PL. For 2-3 season he was the person with highest passes in PL and would linkup with RVP seamlessly!

Agree0 Disagree0

Everybodys favourite Spanish journo, GB, has said Cesc won't leave this year, but may next year.

Agree0 Disagree1

To be honest, Balague talks crap at the best of times. He has such a big mouth that I don't think he gets any inside info because all he does it announces it. Why would Fabregas not want to leave this year but would leave next year when he is getting even closer to Xavi's retirement. If he leaves I think it is this year or not at all.

Agree1 Disagree1

All rubbish!

Why would Fabregas leave his beloved barca?

Please guys speak sense.

Sid

Agree1 Disagree0

Sid

Why would rooney want to leave United?

Agree0 Disagree0

Just a thought on Moyes. People keep talking about his style of play but when Arsenal sold Fabregas they replaced him with Evertons playmaker Arteta. So his style cannot be that bad can it? Yeah sometimes it goes long and rough with Fellani but its hardly the long ball Everton of the Duncan Ferguson era is it? They do have some good footballers there. Whilst not United class the likes of Pienaar, Osman, Gibson and Fellani are all good footballers.

As for Cesc, well I would not say no!

Red Pedro

Agree0 Disagree0

I doubt this will happen- I know this may sound naïve in today's football. but I honestly I can't see cesc playing for pl another team, a part from arsenal- if arsenal put a bid in, he would go there, simple as.

BUT, if arsenal don't won't him back (unlikely if he is available), then that could be a different story. just my tuppence worth.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would he go back to Arsenal? Massive step backwards and they aren't lloking like they are going to compete in the Prem or Europe for a good few years in my opinion. They constantly replace proven quality with £10-£15mil nearly men.

Whenever I hear Cesc speak he is very intelligent and any advice he receives will help him eradicate the nostalgia of Arsenal. Ultimately there isn't much place for it at elite level football. If Utd come knocking he will come in my opinion.

Rumour I heard down the pub Will hughes? Bale Fellaini Baines all going to be signed this summer don't know much about Hughes but the guys say he is going to be a great box to box cm a bit like Schweinsteiger hope going to need top top talent ontop of Zaha. losing Scholes and Fletcher as well as maybe Rooney and others? we need class to fill those shoes. Katef

Believable7 Unbelievable72

Common Kate, you don't strike me as the kind of person to get excited by a "rumor down the pub" lol.

Dan

Agree2 Disagree0

Its better than some of the claims on a web site lol and its been an emotional day but ha ho just passing on some gossip out of interest do ya know much about hughes the lads I know say Moyes has been after him for a while and will sign him as he is a great player in the making had a little look on you tube after this post and he looked good against leeds left peg to so it mite not be as far fetched as it sounds but then again Moyes has the pick of the best players in the world to go after. Katef

Agree0 Disagree0

I see Will's sister on a regular basis apparently Man city is the likely destination with him remaining at derby next season.

Eagle eye

Agree0 Disagree1

Sorry but bale will not be signed

Agree1 Disagree0

All these spurs fans saying we ain't going to het Bale sound a lot like the Arsenal fans last year saying we ain't going to get Van Persie.

Agree3 Disagree2

Difference being van Persie had a year left on this contract

Agree3 Disagree0

We don't sound anything like the woolwich lot! Bale is buying a new house, so his family can stay due to his new born! Bale is about to sign a new contract! His father has told him him present future should be whl! A youtube post of gareth and aaron lennon slating the people and city's of liverpool and manchester was taken down very quickly! A few eagle eyed scousers managed to view the post! His relationship with avb is brilliant! And the ONE good reason to join manchester left your club yesterday! Now if you don't want him! We will take rooney of your hands for about 5 mill?

Agree0 Disagree2

You didn't see his interview on supersunday yesterday then? Was a very different interview from the one I seen on soccer AM a couple weeks back, he was insistent and convincing back then, this week not so much! In fact he left major question marks in his interview yesterday. I'm a united fan but often visit WHL to watch spurs mainly cause my best mates is a person even he agreed that his interview yesterday wasn't very reassuring at all. I'm thinking Real Madrid personally and once they come knocking.

LUKE CHADWICKS LOVE CHILD

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha look how these Spurs fans are hovering about ready to try prove he isn't leaving! Why would he slate the people of Manchester when his idol has played for Manchester United all his life?! Doesn't sound legit.

Ozwald

Agree2 Disagree0

Rooney plus £20 million for Bale? Gets rid of a player who wants to leave us, brings a top class player in to OT, and Spurs can then get rid of Adebayor. Rooney and Defoe is not a bad front pairing! Trouble is, if Spurs qualify for Champions league, Bale may not wish to leave, if they don't, Rooney will not wish to join them.
Mike B.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its the same response he gave in an interview months ago! It wasn't the best but most of us know he won't be moving! This is the same kind of banter we had last year but with modric! I didn't see him in s united shirt? And you want see either bale or modric in a united shirt next year either!

Agree0 Disagree0

13 May 2013 13:15:22
Hughes looks decent and we need a box to boxer but if I was to sign any player from the championship it would be jonny williams.

Agree0 Disagree0

As a United fan I think he will go abroad at some point. He's always stated he wanted to. I can see him at Spurs for another year though.

As for United. No Scholes. Anderson leaving? Nani leaving? A few gaps appearing in a below par midefield. I think Moyes will bid for Fellani and hopefully Nick Powell will get some game time. I'd loike to see a cheeky bid for Ross Barkely as well.

Agree2 Disagree2

Hilarious post from the no named Spurs fan. Did you not see Bales interview over the weekend, he doesn't look like a player staying put to me!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Rooney and Nani for Bale, surely this is a very reasonable deal?
United can then look at Lewandowski and Fellaini and that looks like a good summer to me.

Paul

Agree1 Disagree0

Paul, your going to look very stupid!

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol nina me spurs fan. Quote AVB on Bale leaving and when asked about interst from Moyes. "it's not in our interest", "it will not be easy". Bale obviously wants a move stop kidding yourself, whether it's us, real or Bayern he clearly wants out if you don't get CL football again an with all his congratulating us on our victory, Levy would be the only thing that stops him coming if we bid.

Dan

Agree0 Disagree0

All these people saying rooney to spurs. do you honestly think spurs will match his wages? if we could, those wages will be offered to bale! bale will leave spurs this year or next, for a lot of money, to Real madrid! why else would they have set that partnership up with spurs?

Agree0 Disagree0

Nah Levy will love it he will laugh all the way to the bank he's a penny pincher, besides he's got a stadium to pay for and with out CL football it might make sense for all parties involved for bale to leave, unfortunately I struggle to see it being to united but the contrast in his interview yesterday compared to previous interviews was clear, signing bale would be brilliant though

Agree0 Disagree0

This random tottenham fan quoting some random video LOOOLLL. Nobody's heard of it even if it did exist, so people ain't pissed off about it. He will move, he would probably prefer to stay in England but no doubt Levy will make sure that doesn't happen. This partnership was made to transfer players between clubs but it was done with the thought tottenham would be playing in the CL. Do you tottenham fans really think Modric, Di Maria etc will accept being offloaded to Tottenham where there's no CL football and close to 0 chance of winning the league.
