Ed, do we or have we shown any interest in Ivan Rakitic? Have been very impressed with him when I've watched Sevilla.
The hype around Viktor Fischer seems to have died down quite a lot, do we retain interest in him?
We've scouted Porto and Belgium quite a lot recently and with Defour coming out and saying he could evaluate his future in January, can you see us making a move?
Lastly, we've been linked with Matic for a long time and reports seem to have picked up about us moving for him again, could January be a possibility? Struggling to see what CM's are attainable / likely in January at the moment, link to Herrera seems to have gone quite cold, especially with him barely getting a game for Athletic.
Thanks {Ed002's Note - (a) The long term interest in Rakitic is from Lazio where he was expected to move in the summer. Personally I do not see him moving in January. (2) Viktor Fischer is subject to interest from Milan, Manchester United, Manchester City, Roma and Werder Bremen. Ajax has negotiated a new contract with Fischer and I would not expect a move in January. (3) Real Madrid, Napoli, and Chelsea are interested in Matic - but not at the given fee. Manchester United have had the player watched on several occasions but would likely baulk at the fee being asked. A move in January is possible as Benfica are looking for some income - but be clear it is possible not probable.}

From a personal point of view i'd love to see Fischer and Classie at the club. Maybe we could get former fave and fellow dane Peter Schmeichel to convince him UTD would be his best destination. For me I think Carrick and Classie would probably compliment each other quite nicely in the middle. They would be my targts if I was DM.

Hi ed(s), over the past few days we have been linked with top players like Reus and his release clause has been well discussed. However, are there any truth in links to Griezmann? He or Konoplyanka seem to be two likely targets for Moyes. If Moyes let's Nani and Young both might be on the list. We need plenty of options!
{Ed002's Note - Reus' release clause is year old new recycled. I explained it is best to completely ignore it as it will mislead. I don't know of any interest in Griezmann from Manchester United - but there is from elsewhere. I have explained on a number of occasions about Konoplyanka.}

Fresh, don't know if you remember but Moyes was the reason Nani got a new 5 year contract a few months ago. I don't think Nani is going anywhere soon, unless a considerably large offer comes in which I very much doubt. How would it look if Moyes flogged him off on the cheap so soon after giving him a new contract?
I hope to god that Young is sold though because he offers nothing and isn't worthy of wearing the United shirt.

Well there was no interest in him this summer and if he can't get into the team then do you think his chances of finding a buyer will improve and if so do you think they'll offer what we want for him with hardly any playing time?

Hey all,
I see the rumours of konoplyanka have started again with scouts apparently watching him in the qualifier coming up against France?quick question for ed002 if he is free, is it possible in January that united might look to try strike a Zaha style deal for a young player and loan him back for the remainder of the season?for example hughes or shaw?just a thought and said I would ask.apologies for the questions lately.thanks {Ed002's Note - Yes, of course it is possible but Hughes is attracting attention from elsewhere which will likely be far more interesting to him. Shaw won't be moving in January to OT.}
