As a regular reader and sometime contributor i'd rather read the opinions and analysis of the regulars like sydney, ngiak, red faith, red man, rainfish, sharkey, shappy, and all the other named regular contributors. Apologies to anyone i missed. Rather than read rubbish from nameless wind up merchants who come on here slating the regulars and claiming to know stuff when there sources are only sir alex's secretary's nephew's dog walkers aunts best friends plumber who had a conversation down the dog and duck with the post man who heard it from some housewife he happens to know who's personal shopper happens to know a bench warmer at a club. Scholes shooting boots.

If we are that keen on the player than Chelsea shouldnt have been allowed to be part of the equation. More time spent not completing deals for whatever reason then more chance that other clubs can blow us out of the water with higher bids. I understand Udinise said they wouldn't let him go until the end of the season which didn't help.

That is of course if we have made a bid for sanchez in the first place.

Chelsea will look to complete deal for David Luiz and looking at Ganso.

Considering that One of the sons bought a 20mil house and the daughter bought another one in the palms i think recently, they don't look like ones who are desperate to sell. I have very good connections in the financial law sectors in the UK, US and Germany and nobody has told me anything about them being sued, for whatever many of you seem to mention. Again i may be wrong, i want them gone, but i sadly don't see it happening, and i don't want to feel dissappointed at the end of the day for it not to have happened.

If these morons are indeed spending this kind of money on property could this be an indication they have indeed made a deal to sell the club and are using there own personal profits to do so.
I seem to remember the father had to sell his own ridiculously large mansion not so long ago.

DUBMANU {ed's note - if they were selling the club to pay for it they would not be spending money until it had gone.}

If this happens what will Sydney make of the glazers not getting his chosen player. Later will we get carp that we
"matched" Chelsea bid but he chose a warmer place in London

Agree, if they didn't use club assets to secure a new loan and there is no evidence to say they have , then it is hard to see how they could have re-financed the loan.

Red Man

{Editor's Note: As long as club assets are not involved it is hard to see why this matters at all.}

Because if it is still a debt the Glazers still need to make repayments . They would then need dividends from the club to make payments , dividends which would only be available by making sufficient profit which would only happen if we don't spend in the transfer market. So they would likely discourage spending to improve the profit and maximise the dividend they could take. Hope that is clear.

If the PIKs were repaid from a non borrowing source that they don't have to pay back then it means they do not have to maximise profit and take a dividend just to repay a debt.

Red Man {ed's note - and if they didn't have debt they would want the money to spend. It really makes little difference if any.}

Sanchez will fly into London on Sunday night to hold talks with Chelsea.

Udinese play Sunday afternoon round about 2.00pm and after that the player will yet to the UK to hold talks with Chelsea who he now favours over UTD.

His advisors are favouring Chelsea feeling they can command higher wages and an overall better Transfer fee from them that would be paid in 1 instalment. Better for them as agents and Udinese who need the cash.

Final Transfer fee in region of 18-20mill.

Player also wants to play regular first team football and although originally favoured UTD who he has always wanted to play for he wants to figure every week.

SAF - Finger out!

Personal assets can and usually are separate to corporate ones. Just because they have personal assets doesn't mean their corporate entities are in good shape.
Bankruptcy is the word they use in the US for corporate insolvency, whereas in the UK we use it for personal situations. Bankruptcy there is like administration or receivership here. You can have wealthy individuals and insolvent companies.
It is well known their Mall business has major issues and I have not seen a solution to that. Ultimately they could even declare a profit on the Mall business but if they have no cash to pay bills then that could easily lead to bankruptcy (receivership).
Finally interesting they have such extravagent tastes in buying private property yet had to borrow money from our club by way of a loan in recent times. Have they even repaid the debt yet?

Personally I hope they are up to their eyes in it and it forces them to sell.

Do you not think that Nani and Anderson were signed to 'replace' Scholes and Giggs?

Sanchez looks a very good player from what ive seen of Udinese of ESPN, to me he is a right midfielder. We have Valencia, Cleverley, Park, Nani, Bebe, Morrison, Obertan competing for this spot, why add another to that list?

I personally think that we won't sign anyone this window or next. It is being rumoured that Kuszcak has done a U turn and will in fact stay, as he believs it will be a straight shoot out between him and Lindegaard to be No.1 both abley supported by Ben Amos.

My 'source' Suggests that Sir Alex is happy with what he has, the only issue maybe Evra leaving for Madrid, and if that happens he isn't sure that have Rafael and Fabio in the team would be balanced enough. Source mentioned Coentrao, Olsson, and Enrique.

Defours future relies on Andersons progression

I think with all being well Fergie will stick with what he has.

Thanks mate. .:) it seems to me chelsea are serious contender. .and i won't rule zenit out. smaller clubs are very good at signing players. .u remember when we linked with Douglas Costa? his price tag was quoted as much as 20 mil. but Shakhtar bought him for just only 6 mil. .

- - - - - - - - - -

But Shakhtar only gets 50% of a future sale and the rest goes to his old club.

Right to the person who said the Qatar families bid has been rejected. FALSE!

The deal is agreed an first down payment already taken. This helped the Glazers pay off 220m or so before Xmas.

My contact is close to Sir Alex and the deal is done and 1.6bn was mentioned.My contact said Jan will be done although announcement might come later. Ferguson has also said he will have unlimited funds to compete with City. Currently he can't buy anyone while the deal is going through. He wants Diarra, Bale and Gordon and Sanchez is backup for Bale, but if Spurs do not get Champions League he is off by all accounts and his idol is Giggs.

{Editor's Note: I would guess it is simply a smaller loan at a lower rate and has nothing whatsoever to do with the club - meaning that the fans will likely never know. I am guessing that some of the payment would have been made in cash or kind as well.}

@But secured against what? They are 1.1bn in debt.

Still a strange one in my opinion.

On 28th December the Qatar Royal families holding company bid 1.3bill for UTD. This was turned down.

On 4th Jan they upped bid to 1.4bill. That was turned down.

On 7th Jan Malcolm Glazer stated the club is not for sale at any price.

Sorry guys the Glazers are not going anywhere.

They could have walked with 100mill's of profit and said no.

Thay aint going nowhere.

Source from a City Accountancy firm - very relaible in the past knowing of Transfers as moneys are made available etc.

Rumour coming out now that SAF is after Coentrao, source TribalFootball. Will not happen unless Evra is on the move, we have more than enough players to fill in when Evra is injured and Coentrao just isn't a player you could leave on the bench.

Ed, are Tribalfootball a decent source? They do come up with more stories than any other site so I have my doubts. {ed's note - not really reliable, they repeat anybody else's stories that are around while making up extra ones. It is just about throwing names around in the hope of getting hits and even the lucky chance of getting one right.}

The idiots that propagate this site are hilarious ngiak and Sydney's lack of knowledge on anything to do with Manchester United is laughable to say the least. The pretence they like to portray of being in the know at United is only funny because they continue to embarrass themselves by spouting absolute nonsense on here every few minutes.

The facts are:

- There will no January signings.
- There will be one signing in the summer with 3 possibly 4 leaving. The squad size has to be trimmed due to the youth players no longer qualifying to be included outside the 25.
- The club will not be sold.

@Its my stalker, it seems he's got his eye on Ngiak too? I think I am a tad jealous! Can you elaborate on the;

"The squad size has to be trimmed due to the youth players no longer qualifying to be included outside the 25."

What are you trying to say? Reason I ask is because youth players under the age of 21 do not have to be registered in the 25 man squad. This means they do not have to be named but all players under 21 can still play if Fergie wishes to play them. So can you explain what you mean as I do not understand what you are saying here.

Oh Stalks, for the last time 'I am not in the know' especially in regards to United.

Just a thought. .with Pienaar going to spurs, would it make it easier to buy Modric at the end of the season, should SAF want to?

I mean, from Harry's point of view, he'd be selling a top quality player for somewhere in the region of £20m and gaining a very good replacement for around £3m. They already have an abundance of quality attacking midfielders (Modric, VDV, Krancjar).

It's probably more likely for Krancjar to be sold, but is it possible Spurs are preparing for the departure of Modric?

@Mate the Glazers are the top dogs agreed, but Manchester United's revenue is Manchester United's, not the Glazers. The Glazers cannot just help themselves to it. For example, if the Glazers sell up it does not mean they can walk away with the £151m as its not theirs. Its the clubs.

Its irrelevant whether they own United or not, they cannot help themselves to United's money. They are only entitled to take dividends out of the club if we make profits. This year we were not profitable.

Ed, can you explain this any better to the confused lad?

Sydney! {ed's note - I thought owners were able to pay themselves anything they liked in bonuses and salary so long as the business has the money there to cover it?}

For goodness sake, if we believe Sydney then Gill can spend £150m on whatever he likes. How many times, the Glazers would have to approve major spends on players.
There will be a heirarchy of approval levels to allow Gill to buy crayons but the idea he could just have control of the whole cash balance is bonkers.

Wake up Sydney, it is you who are confused
