Not just yet according to tv, but its looking like a matter of time until he does move on.

Wouldn't he be signing a new contract if he signed for real Madrid. ?

Whilst be big loss to lose De Gea, think we might be fortunate in other good goalkeepers being potentially available this year - and Van Gaal says they have a shortlist of replacements already, so guess he'll go for one of the following: (in my order of preference!)

1. Cech
2. Begovic
3. lloris
4. Handanovic
5. (Valses can't be discounted yet)

Cech is not the keeper he use to be. I think Valdes should be given the number one spot so we can reinvest the ddg money for outfield players.

What does everyone think of these Koke for £43m rumours? he could be that RW we have been looking for. Same with Muller actually.

Believable0 Unbelievable2

{Ed004's Note - Koke said earlier today or yesterday that he will be playing for Atheltico Madrid next season}

Ronaldo said he was staying and couldn't wait for next season, only to be sold to Madrid a few weeks after!

Come on, guys. Even on the Chelsea page we've come to grips with it ;-)
Don't you feel you've got enough attacking midfielders? :)

{Ed004's Note - We aren't}

15 May 2015 13:25:48
Cheers pal. I know arsenal and Liverpool will more than likely be in talks but wondered with the uncertainty around de gea signing a new contract , if it would make us put a contingency in place! Thanks again

Gman if I had to guess then I would assume valdes is the contingency

Hi eds a quick question is falcao leaving or staying

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed004's Note - probably leaving}

So now being linked with 45 mill move for harry Kane, bit steep after 1 good season, although personally I think he will turn out to be best English out and out scorer since shearer

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - i cant see kane going anywhere mb, levy knows that if he progresses again this season that we will be talking gareth bale money next year..

15 May 2015 13:18:28
I agree ed and if truth be told I imagine we have no interest what so ever in him atm.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 May 2015 08:23:20
It could also go the opposite way to ed025!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - it could angel, but even if he had a mediocre season they would still get top dollar imo mate..

14 May 2015 23:31:14
What does everyone make of the daily fail having Kane as our number 1 target £45 million.?

Believable0 Unbelievable13

15 May 2015 04:41:26
Daily Fail :-)
Says it all.
Looks a great player and I do like him but I would say £25 mill is more realistic, £30 mill at a push.

I agree with Herbie that the price quoted seems a little rich. I personally think the £25m is about right in a normal market, but there are 3 factors in play here that can't be ignored:

1) the Levy effect. I.e you will pay through the nose for my players.
2) the Utd effect. People know we have money to spend so add 15-20% to the asking price.
3) the home grown player quota. With this coming into play the premium for English players is going to go through the roof and it wasn't cheap in the first place.

Considering the above £45m is probably about right.

{Ed025's Note - everything you say is correct there huggy..

If ed002 hasn't mentioned it, I wouldn't pay attention to it - simple as.
