Rumours that adnan wants 15K a week and that's what's holding up the contract talks, if true, JUST BLOODY GIVE HIM IT!!

Believable64 Unbelievable7

Refusing 15k a week for this kid would be barking mad when you realise that Ashley Young is on over 5 times that as it is.

Agree3 Disagree0

Doesn't sound right to me, he's not the type to chase after money like that. But if true then we better meet those demands. I think Zaha is on around £15k a week so it makes sense to give Adnan the same.

Agree0 Disagree0

Give him whatever he wants within reason and strap him up for the next five years. then give him a good run out this season to show what he can really do! untapped talent at this moment in time and a very exciting proposition for us

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't usually like the fact young players are demanding £x but after his performance after Palace I would tend to pay it as he could be a valuable player this season - it was refreshing to see a player with no fear trying to take players on - not run down the line, cut back onto his right and deliver a rubbish cross.

We need to wrap a long term contract round this guy - pay the money and give him a chance!

Agree1 Disagree0

If this is true then it should have been sorted already, anyone in their right mind can see he is worth it, I know we can't be held to ransom by greedy agents or kids who think they are better than they think but this surely isn't the case here, if were not careful we'll end up losing another potential world class talent.

Agree0 Disagree0

Give him the money, we have lost too many players this year alone by not paying the money to get them. We need this player, Saturday wasnt great.

Agree0 Disagree0

I doubt this very much. £15k/£16k a week is the next salary on the wage structure. Players like Cleverley, Welbeck, Evans etc etc were all given this wage when they went from academy to senior. If there is a sticking point then it's probably that he is asking for more than £15k/£16k.

Agree1 Disagree0

Lets be honest nobody knows yet all speculation so we will have to wait and see what happens. The boy does look an incredible talent tho. We should get him involved as much as possible so he feels a big part of it all so we don't end up losing a player with so much potential. I think we should keep him also rather than letting him go on loan we do not have many players who can beat a man atm and he certainly can so why let him go we need him here now

Agree0 Disagree0

Adnan doesn't seem the type to be money driven, maybe it's just reassurances that he will get a fair chance. I would just give him the number 7 too, to show how much faith we have in him and his future is with the club, sort of like we did when we gave it Ronaldo. I'm sure it will all be sorted soon, we aren't that stupid to have another Pogba situation surely!

Agree0 Disagree0

Does anyone know what Bebe was on, is this club really going to risk losing another great young talent, imagine how much money they save when they don't have to go out and uy a big star to fill the space in a few years time. Maybe force Giggs into retirement and use some of his wasted wages or that of Anderson i'm sure he will be happy to be paid with cake.

Agree0 Disagree0

If its true then give it to him as he's well worth it. I wouldn't want to lose out again like Pogba and from his displays this summer this kid going be up there.

United should be looking to secure this talent and make him feel special. Yeah we need to keep his feet on the ground but in a world were money talks and he sees how well he is being treated and developed we should stop the penny pinching and focus on the football.

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't believe that we haven't signed him yet especially after the ineptitude during the transfer period. If this turns out like the Pogba episode it will be a disaster. To Moyes credit he has gotten him a game but the lad must be wondering to himself how Giggs and Young are chosen ahead of him.

Ronaldo signs new 3 yr extension at Real.Well that puts paid to any return rumours for good.

Believable21 Unbelievable5

Has he signed a new deal?

It says he's agreed a new deal, but that was agreed month's ago. I expect him to sign a new deal, but I do not think he has yet.

Agree0 Disagree2

He was never coming back to us

Agree3 Disagree0

He's officialy signed for 5 more years.

Agree1 Disagree0

Syd

C'mon! You're better than that. He ain't coming back, he does not want to. Forget it

Agree1 Disagree0

Nick, Ronaldo did exactly what I expected him to do. Although I did have fears a couple of years ago that he will sign for City. That is now out of the question thankfully.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ronaldo will be back in about 3 years for a big pay off he knows with all Uniteds Asian fans buying his shirt with his image rights he will make a fortune before retiring,

Glad to see us linked with Luke Shaw again, he is the future. To me he is the best young left back in the world. He isn't ready to take over straight away though. If we could agree a deal with Southampton in January for a Summer transfer then it would be a good deal. If we could get Coentrao on loan as well with view to a permanent move then this would overhaul the left back slot if Buttner & Evra leave next summer.

Believable12 Unbelievable4

Buttner to leave in january agree a deal for shaw for a summer transfer and get coentroe on loan for the rest of the season and evra leaving in the summer

Agree0 Disagree1

Not sure about being the future.Unless he is a future sicknote. He seems to make Darren Anderton look like a regular starter
